One of Malaysia's celebrity preachers, Muhammad Haris Ismail or PU Riz has taken to his Instagram story that he is now a senior lecturer at Innovative International College situated in Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
The 27-year-old husband of television host and entrepreneur Neelofa shared that he has been appointed to teach Haji and Umrah Management Diploma under its International Studies Faculty.

On the other hand, the same college also appointed another celebrity preacher Mohamad Amirul Amin Lokman Hakim who is also known as PU Amin to handle the diploma programme.
Riz saw that this is a great opportunity to widen the knowledge in this field among people and hoped for other institutions of higher learning would offer courses that allowed the country to produce high-quality mutawif (people who facilitate and assist haj and umrah).
"My programme has been very well received and it is my wish that more universities and colleges offer similar programmes for the growth of the mutawif sector," he said.
"Students who attend this course will be well-educated on the different types of haji rituals. Equipped with such knowledge, they will eventually be capable of managing pilgrimages efficiently."
A nation could thrive towards a better community when its people are given the opportunity to pursue knowledge and apply the knowledge gained within the society for a brighter future together.

Flight AI171, bound for Gatwick Airport, was carrying 242 individuals, including 217 adults, 11 children, two infants, and a crew of 12. Only One Survivor Pulled from the Wreckage

In a rare miracle, one passenger survived: a British national of Indian origin named Vishwash Kumar Ramesh. Seated in seat 11A, next to an emergency exit, Ramesh was able to escape the burning wreckage. He sustained multiple injuries but remained conscious and coherent when transported to hospital.
&ldquo;Thirty seconds after take-off, there was a loud noise and then the plane crashed. It all happened so quickly,&rdquo; Ramesh told the Hindustan Times from his hospital bed. &ldquo;When I got up, there were bodies all around me. I was scared. I stood up and ran. There were pieces of the plane all around me. Someone grabbed hold of me and put me in an ambulance.&rdquo;
Footage taken after the crash showed Ramesh bloodied and limping as he was helped into an ambulance. Police later confirmed he had managed to jump from the aircraft through the emergency exit, and that he remains the only known survivor.
Devastation on the Ground

&ldquo;My son is safe, and I have spoken to him,&rdquo; said a woman named Ramila, whose son had just returned to the hostel for lunch. &ldquo;He jumped from the second floor, so he suffered some injuries.&rdquo; Another local, Poonam Patni, recounted the horror: &ldquo;When we reached the spot there were several bodies lying around and firefighters were dousing the flames. Many of the bodies were burned.&rdquo;
Former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani was among the victims. Authorities have asked families of the deceased to provide DNA samples for identification due to the severe burns suffered by many victims.
Cause of Crash Still Unknown
The aircraft had only just departed Ahmedabad&rsquo;s runway when it issued a Mayday call. Moments later, it vanished from radar. CCTV footage showed the plane struggling to climb before falling rapidly and disappearing from view, followed by a massive fireball rising from behind residential buildings.

Malaysia is mourning the loss of 15 Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) students following a devastating bus crash along the East-West Highway (Jalan Raya Timur-Barat, or JRTB) near Tasik Banding, Gerik, Perak. We will not compromise when it comes to the safety of our people,&rdquo; Loke stated.
To prevent similar incidents in the future, the Land Transport Agency (APAD) will establish a centralised database containing driver profiles, including past convictions and blacklisted individuals. The database will allow bus operators to perform thorough background checks before hiring drivers, ensuring only qualified and safe personnel are employed in public transportation.
Financial Assistance for Families of Victims and Survivors

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development will provide RM1,000 in aid to each of the 10 UPSI students currently receiving treatment in intensive care units across two hospitals in Perak. Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri said the funds are being drawn from the Yayasan Kebajikan Negara under the Skim Pemberian Ehsan Kepada Keluarga Mangsa, a special assistance programme for disaster victims and their families.
