Have you always been a fan of Apple and preferred it over other devices such as Windows or Linux?
Well, if you&rsquo;re a tech geek you&rsquo;ll definitely know that Apple really does have the upper hand when it comes to making really powerful machines, but at a price to.

Recently, Apple had had their Peek Performance event and showed off a few of their upcoming products. One of them includes the Apple Mac Studio which packs a punch as they have now fitted the M1 Ultra processor in it.&nbsp;

For those who don&rsquo;t know, the M1Ultra is a 20-core processor which is equivalent to a Intel i9 Processor with 16-cores or even the AMD 3990x Threadripper that has 64-cores. The performance of the M1 Ultra however is 90% faster than the Intel but is still behind the AMD which is 4.5% faster than the M1 Ultra when it comes to multi-thread processing.
How does it do against heat?

With a lot of power, there comes the question to thermals as it&rsquo;s one of the most important things to take note of when needing to maintain the CPU longevity and also efficiency.
Unlike our typical desktops which feature an Air/Aio/ Water cooler, the Apple Mac Studio is in a small and compact design which could be a bit of a worry.

It&rsquo;s no surprise that it&rsquo;s made in Malaysia as back in 2019, Apple had considered several locations around the world for new assembly plants and Malaysia was one of them due to it being a neutral and cheap location. In 2021, it was confirmed that Malaysia was selected to have their assembly plant as the Mac Mini&rsquo;s production was shifted here.
However, not all Mac Studios are made in Malaysia. One customer who&rsquo;s received their Mac Studio early (We&rsquo;ll assume it&rsquo;s an early production item) had accidentally uploaded an image of his device and it says that it was made in China. Furthermore, his own Mac Mini that was purchased in May 2021 also stated that it was made in China.
Malaysia actually makes a lot of other popular items on the market

Malaysia is no stranger to the manufacturing or production industry as we&rsquo;ve been making computer hardware and semiconductors for quite a while now. In fact, Many AMD and Intel CPU chips were made in Malaysia since the companies opened their plants here in 1972.

In fact, popular consoles such as the Xbox One X and Nintendo Switch are also made in Malaysia. If you ever see someone with the popular <a href="https://www.sony.com.my/electronics/truly-wireless/wf-1000xm4">Sony WF-100XM4</a> earbuds, yep, you guessed it, it&rsquo;s made in Malaysia as well and it&rsquo;s dubbed as one of if not the best earbuds in the market right now.
How much will the Mac Studio cost?
Apple products in general could cost you an arm and a kidney depending on how high end the spec is.
Jokes aside, the price of the base model Mac Studio with the M1 Max Processor is priced at RM8,799 and the M1 Ultra starts at RM15,999. However, despite it being made in Malaysia, we can&rsquo;t pre-order it and it&rsquo;s availability has yet to be confirmed.

He could&rsquo;ve just moved to the right lane for a few seconds.&rdquo;
The group claimed the incident wasn&rsquo;t isolated. They accused the driver of having behaved similarly earlier that morning, suggesting a pattern of intimidation. Matters escalated when the bus came to a halt, and the driver exited the vehicle to confront the cyclists directly. According to their post, the driver attempted to physically assault one of them, kicking at a cyclist during the roadside argument.
Public Shaming Backfires: Personal Info Shared Online
In what appeared to be an attempt to seek public support and prompt disciplinary action, the cyclists shared the driver&rsquo;s full name, bus registration plate, and employee ID on social media platforms. However, their efforts backfired. Rather than drawing outrage towards the driver, the post unleashed a wave of criticism against the cyclists themselves.
Many Malaysians took issue with the decision to publicly doxx the driver, pointing out that he appeared calm and collected in the video, even when surrounded by a large, agitated group. According to the cyclists, they insisted they had already been doing so. However, video footage and witness commentary suggested that several riders were cycling side-by-side, taking up more space than advisable and potentially obstructing traffic.

Public sentiment online quickly leaned in favour of the bus driver. Social media users commented in droves, with many expressing frustration about the behaviour of large cycling groups on Malaysian roads. &ldquo;Hundreds of comments flooded the post&mdash;and nearly all of them defended the bus driver,&rdquo; one observer noted.

Over a period of six weeks, Webb groomed the woman, gradually manipulating her into self-harming and then into attempting suicide. Prosecutors revealed that he would instruct her how to harm herself and demanded she send photos of her injuries, which he used for sexual pleasure. He became agitated when she self-harmed without his prompting, as it meant he couldn't witness or control the act.
In one especially harrowing incident on 2 July 2024, Webb persuaded her to attempt suicide via a 44-minute video call. She passed out during the attempt, but survived. Upon regaining consciousness, Webb coldly instructed her to try again.
Victim&rsquo;s Bravery and Pain

"There will never be another second on this Earth where I don't have to live with the pain of what happened."

"If she had not come forward, Webb would have remained at liberty and free to target other vulnerable people online."
During sentencing at Leicester Crown Court on 4 July 2025, Webb appeared visibly distressed, at one point lying on the floor as a coping mechanism. His defence counsel, Joey Kwong, revealed that Webb had long suffered from autism spectrum disorder, borderline personality disorder, and depression.
Despite these conditions, the court was clear that his actions were deliberate and dangerous. The judge concluded that Webb was manipulative, sexually motivated, and posed a significant risk to others. He will remain in a mental health facility until deemed fit for release, at which point he will serve the rest of his sentence in prison.

&ldquo;This could just be a form of artistic self-expression,&rdquo; Jeffri added. &ldquo;Let him express himself in the way he chooses.&rdquo;
Nonetheless, Jeffri emphasised that both the NSC and the National Sports Institute (ISN) remain on standby to offer any form of support&mdash;whether physical, emotional, or mental&mdash;should it be needed by Lee or his team in future.

His sentiments were echoed by Dr Rebecca Wong, a clinical psychologist who has followed Lee&rsquo;s sporting journey closely, including his recent bronze medal performance at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
