In the last few days, cryptocurrency has been pretty unstable, specifically the Doge coin. The lingo is actually called &ldquo;shilling&rdquo; &ndash; a practice of pumping a price of a coin and one man has been doing it a bit excessively.
That said man is Elon Musk.

He had appeared on a popular show called Saturday Night Live (SNL). Leading up to the show, the coins price had began raising heavily with the price of it being worth 70 cents a Dogecoin.

But his opening monologue in the show caused the coin crash in the market due to him revealing that he has a condition called Asperger&rsquo;s.

Following the drop of Doge Coin, experts say the coin will spike up in value again soon enough and I guess we now know why.
On Sunday, Musk had tweeted that the <a href="https://www.geometricenergy.ca/">Geometric Energy Corporation</a> &nbsp;will launch the DOGE-1 satellite to the moon. The satellite will be launched with a SpaceX rocket and is scheduled to happen next year.
Unsurprisingly, the mission will be paid for in DOGE as it will be the &ldquo;1st meme and cryptocurrency in space&rdquo;.

If you think this is a joke, trust me, it isn&rsquo;t. He even had an actual <a href="https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/spacex-to-launch-doge-1-to-the-moon-301287016.html?s=08&amp;fbclid=IwAR077pYP6-hvk8UHbsRH_g3h6eNfb0lKRopZyT4M3kfWyt4AHU0xosLUBXo">press release</a> which confirms his statement.
DOGE initially started as a joke cryptocurrency which rose due to Elon talking about it repeatedly. Meanwhile, the DOGE-1 is a satellite which will be launched into space by the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. It plans to orbit the moon to obtain &ldquo;lunar-spatial intelligence from sensors and cameras on-board&rdquo;.
The irony is that the DOGE coin mascot joke is a Shiba Inu dog, and the cryptocurrency is talked to &ldquo;go to the moon&rdquo; as an abbreviation of its price will skyrocket. Now, SpaceX and Geometric Energy Corporation are making this a reality by literally sending it to the moon.
The two companies could have used any other source of funding but hey, it is what it is.

Although expected to rise again in value, the coin&rsquo;s pricing has been stagnant since Musk&rsquo;s appearance in SNL. Also, we are pretty sure that the cryptocurrency is not suitable for funding a space mission per say.
At this point, if Elon Musk is involved, it seems that anything is possible and no matter how ridiculous the idea is, it will somehow work.
Honestly speaking, the more I look at Elon Musk, the more I think he&rsquo;s an absolute mad lad. By doing things like sending the doge coin up into space, it is also free marketing for the coin, and it may encourage others to buy the coin in the future. Looks like we&rsquo;ll have to see what the future has in store for the coin.

In an unexpected legal defeat, Italian luxury car manufacturer Ferrari SpA has lost a trademark lawsuit against Malaysian beverage company Sunrise-Mark Sdn Bhd. The dispute centred on claims that the local firm&rsquo;s Wee Power logo, featuring two rearing horses, was too similar to Ferrari&rsquo;s world-famous &lsquo;Prancing Horse&rsquo; trademark.
The Legal Challenge Over Horses

Ferrari initiated legal action through an originating summons in an attempt to overturn a 2024 decision by the Registrar of Trademarks. That decision had dismissed Ferrari&rsquo;s opposition to Sunrise-Mark&rsquo;s application, allowing the Wee Power mark to proceed towards registration.
The automaker argued that Sunrise-Mark&rsquo;s use of horses, specifically two rearing horses facing each other, could cause confusion among consumers, infringing on Ferrari&rsquo;s exclusive rights to its iconic single rearing horse symbol, famously seen on its sports cars, merchandise, and global marketing campaigns.
Ferrari also attempted to downplay the significance of the words &ldquo;Wee Power&rdquo; in the branding, asserting that the term &ldquo;Power&rdquo; had been disclaimed in the trademark filing, while &ldquo;Wee&rdquo; was allegedly too generic to carry any unique distinction.
Judge: Not All Horses Are Equal

However, the Malaysian High Court saw things differently. On 30 May, Judge Adlin Abdul Majid dismissed Ferrari&rsquo;s claims, finding that the similarities between the two trademarks were minimal at best.
&ldquo;The plaintiff&rsquo;s [Ferrari&rsquo;s] logo contains a single rearing horse, while the defendant&rsquo;s [Sunrise-Mark&rsquo;s] logo features two rearing horses positioned opposite each other,&rdquo; she said. &ldquo;In addition, there is a prominent letter &lsquo;W&rsquo; between the horses&rsquo; heads and the words &lsquo;Wee Power&rsquo; below them. It is a very different composition.&rdquo;
Judge Adlin accepted Sunrise-Mark&rsquo;s argument that &ldquo;Wee&rdquo; was a reference to the founder&rsquo;s name, Wee Juan Chien, rather than a nod to the English definition of the word. She remarked that it was improbable any brand would aim to market an energy drink suggesting &ldquo;very small power&rdquo;.
Different Industries, Different Consumers
Central to the court&rsquo;s decision was the fact that Ferrari and Sunrise-Mark operate in completely unrelated industries. The judge noted that Ferrari is entrenched in the luxury automotive sector, while Sunrise-Mark&rsquo;s business lies in the realm of consumable goods.
&ldquo;These are not competing markets, and it is highly unlikely that the plaintiff&rsquo;s customer base would overlap with the defendant&rsquo;s,&rdquo; she said. &ldquo;There is no reasonable likelihood that a consumer purchasing an energy drink would assume a connection with Ferrari&rsquo;s vehicles.&rdquo;
Judge Adlin firmly rejected the notion that the average Malaysian consumer would mistake the Wee Power logo for anything associated with Ferrari, regardless of the presence of horses in both designs.
Sunrise-Mark Free to Proceed With Trademark

With Ferrari&rsquo;s lawsuit dismissed, Sunrise-Mark is now free to register and use its Wee Power trademark without legal hindrance. In addition to losing the case, Ferrari was ordered by the court to bear the legal costs.
Representing Ferrari were counsels PC Kok and Ng Pau Chze. Sunrise-Mark was represented by lawyers YY Ho and Amirah Najihah Ameruddin.
Ferrari&rsquo;s History of Aggressive Brand Protection

In the past, Ferrari reportedly blacklisted pop star Justin Bieber after he modified one of their cars and failed to follow brand etiquette. Likewise, Canadian DJ Deadmau5 was served legal warnings over his custom-painted &ldquo;Purrari&rdquo;, a Ferrari 458 decorated with a Nyan Cat theme. The car was eventually stripped of its modifications after pressure from the company.
While Ferrari&rsquo;s desire to protect its identity is understandable, this Malaysian court ruling suggests that even powerful global brands must accept reasonable limits when it comes to trademark control, especially when dealing with fundamentally different industries.

What began as an ordinary morning on Monday (30 June), quickly spiralled into a large-scale security and traffic operation near the Menora Tunnel in Perak. At approximately 9.30am, a highway maintenance worker discovered a suspected explosive device while conducting routine landscaping work along Kilometre 265 of the North-South Expressway (PLUS), not far from Jelapang.
The maintenance supervisor, a 51-year-old man, was reportedly clearing vegetation when he noticed an object partially buried in the underbrush. Realising it resembled a military-grade explosive, he immediately informed the PLUS highway patrol unit, who then escalated the matter to the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).
Confirmation of a Mortar Bomb

Upon inspection by bomb squad experts from the Perak Bomb Disposal Unit, it was confirmed that the object was indeed an old mortar bomb&mdash;likely a remnant from a past era, though its origins remain unclear. Such explosive ordnance, though rare, is occasionally uncovered in areas that may have seen military movement or exercises in previous decades.
Perak Police Chief Datuk Noor Hisam Nordin said the immediate response from both the police and PLUS personnel ensured the site was quickly secured and no civilians were put in harm&rsquo;s way.
&ldquo;Following the report, a team comprising personnel from the police, the highway patrol, and our bomb disposal unit was deployed for immediate assessment and containment. The situation was treated with utmost seriousness,&rdquo; he stated.
Controlled Detonation and Safety Radius

Speaking candidly during the red carpet premiere of his latest film, The Old Guard 2, Golding addressed speculation that he&rsquo;s in the running to become the next Bond&mdash;a topic he admits has followed him since his breakout performance in 2018.
&ldquo;A Nightmare Every Actor Has&rdquo;

His comment might sound surprising coming from a leading man who has been praised for his charisma and suaveness, qualities typically associated with Bond. But Golding made it clear that it&rsquo;s the weight of the role&mdash;not the role itself&mdash;that gives him pause.

Yet he was also pragmatic about the realities. &ldquo;The world might not be ready just yet,&rdquo; he admitted. &ldquo;I mean, I&rsquo;m Asian, and everyone&rsquo;s fighting for a diverse Bond&mdash;sorry, white guys.&rdquo;
Still, the fact that he&rsquo;s even part of the conversation is, in his view, an honour. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s flattering. Truly. But I think there are other roles within that universe that could be just as exciting&mdash;without the baggage.&rdquo;
Denis Villeneuve Confirmed as Bond&rsquo;s New Director

While the search for the next Bond actor continues, the creative direction of the franchise has officially changed hands. Acclaimed filmmaker Denis Villeneuve, best known for Dune and Blade Runner 2049, has been confirmed as the director for the next James Bond film under Amazon MGM Studios.
The studio, which gained creative control of the Bond intellectual property in a historic deal, aims to reinvigorate the franchise with Villeneuve&rsquo;s bold, visionary style. He will also serve as executive producer alongside Tanya Lapointe, with producers Amy Pascal and David Heyman attached.
&ldquo;James Bond is sacred territory for me,&rdquo; Villeneuve said in a statement. &ldquo;Some of my earliest film memories were watching Sean Connery in Dr. No with my father. This is a huge responsibility&mdash;but also a massive honour.&rdquo;

As e-commerce continues its meteoric rise in Malaysia, consumers expect ever-faster deliveries. Yet few pause to consider what powers this rapid logistics chain behind the scenes. Beyond the delivery bikes and vans weaving through traffic lies a new, unexpected player: Malaysia&rsquo;s Light Rail Transit (LRT).
Now, an innovative local logistics firm is transforming how parcels move across the city&mdash;bringing deliveries onto the rails.
A Green Shift in Urban Logistics

According to the Asian Transport Observatory, Malaysia&rsquo;s transport sector emitted 66.35 million tonnes of carbon dioxide in 2023, accounting for nearly a quarter of the nation's total. The surge in online shopping only worsens these numbers, with delivery vehicles making countless trips daily.
Enter Diolko Logistics Malaysia Sdn Bhd. Based in Cheras, the company has partnered with Prasarana Malaysia Bhd to pioneer an eco-conscious delivery system that utilises the existing LRT network and electric vehicles (EVs). The result: reduced emissions, less traffic congestion, and faster delivery times.
Since its soft launch in July 2023, Diolko has successfully delivered over 6,000 parcels via this hybrid rail-electric model&mdash;cutting carbon emissions by an estimated 70%.
How the Delivery System Works

Diolko&rsquo;s system currently centres around three LRT stations: Awan Besar, Ara Damansara, and Putra Heights&mdash;the latter functioning as the central sorting hub. Parcels are first collected from clients using electric vans, then sent to Putra Heights for sorting and classification.
The sorted parcels are loaded into secure, APAD-certified trolleys, labelled by destination, and transported via LRT during off-peak hours (post-11pm) to avoid passenger disruption. Each train can accommodate up to six trolleys per trip, with clear separation from commuter areas.
At the destination stations, electric motorcycles take over the last-mile delivery. Diolko currently employs two electric vans and eight e-bikes, with plans to expand both fleets.
Expanding in Phases
Diolko has outlined a three-phase expansion strategy. Phase One will see full deployment along the Kelana Jaya and Ampang/Sri Petaling LRT lines, with new hubs at Gombak and Ampang stations by the end of 2025.
Phase Two will extend to major MRT lines, including Kwasa Damansara, Kajang, and Putrajaya, targeting urban centres like Cheras and Kota Damansara. Phase Three will encompass the upcoming LRT3 line&mdash;set to serve Shah Alam and Klang upon its September 2025 launch.
The ultimate goal: a network of at least 15 strategic delivery hubs across the Klang Valley by 2027.
Room for Growth, But Not Without Concerns
Despite praise for its sustainability, experts caution that scaling the model may be challenging. Dr Dazmin Daud, an assistant professor at UCSI University, noted that LRT infrastructure was never intended for freight.
&ldquo;As parcel volumes increase, the system may hit capacity constraints. Trains are built for people, not parcels,&rdquo; he said. He also emphasised the operational limitations tied to off-peak scheduling.
However, Dazmin acknowledged that leveraging existing infrastructure avoids additional maintenance costs, as rail operations are already covered by Prasarana. He advised the government to carefully vet future logistics operators to ensure efficiency and avoid service delays.
Practical Barriers: Space and Reach

Some critics point out that several LRT stations&mdash;especially older or centrally located ones&mdash;lack sufficient space for handling parcels or receiving e-bike riders. Furthermore, not all areas are well-connected to the rail network, with towns like Rawang still out of reach.
Kuugan Thangarajoo, a logistics hub manager, suggested that increasing the number of coaches or introducing cargo-specific trips could help. However, he warned this might interfere with regular passenger services. He also advocated for the introduction of parcel locker systems or self-collection points to improve accessibility.
Diolko&rsquo;s Chief Operating Officer, Onno Pfeiffer, stressed that not every LRT station would be turned into a logistics hub. Stations with limited space or high footfall, like KLCC, are intentionally avoided.
&ldquo;We prioritise stations with better accessibility, like Bukit Bintang, to serve wider areas from a single point. Our trolleys are loaded in under 30 seconds. If we miss a train, we simply wait for the next one&mdash;we never disrupt passenger services,&rdquo; Pfeiffer said.
Prasarana&rsquo;s Vision: Urban Transport Meets Smart Logistics
Public transport operator Prasarana believes the integration of parcel logistics and urban rail can transform Malaysian cities.
&ldquo;By moving goods via rail, we&rsquo;re not only reducing congestion and emissions, but also building a foundation for multimodal logistics systems,&rdquo; the company said in a statement.
Plans are underway to reimagine select stations into multi-use hubs, featuring cargo bays, smart lockers, and integrated digital platforms. Prasarana also aims to incorporate virtual hubs and more EVs to further cut emissions and delays.
Importantly, the operator remains open to collaborating with other logistics providers&mdash;paving the way for an ecosystem where public transport and parcel delivery coexist. As Diolko&rsquo;s urban delivery model continues its rollout, it may become a regional benchmark in sustainable logistics&mdash;showing that the trains we ride to work might one day be delivering our parcels too.
