In truth, McDonald's customers typically receive additional sauce packets at no extra cost.

Upon discovering the situation, McDonald's Malaysia has addressed the incident that occurred at their Taman Buaya branch in Melaka. Following an internal inquiry and a review of CCTV footage, it was revealed that the customer initially received an insufficient amount of chilli sauce but was promptly provided with extra packets upon request.
However, the situation took a turn when the customer, despite being informed that the additional chilli sauce was complimentary, became verbally aggressive toward the staff. He insisted on paying for an extra 10 packets of chilli sauce. Subsequently, the incident was reported to the police as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of their employees. McDonald's emphasized that the welfare and well-being of their crew members remain their top priority.
Netizens Share Their Thoughts On The Incident 
As the post began to circulate widely on social media, numerous internet users chimed in with their opinions regarding the incident. Even former Tanjung MP Ng Wei Aik took notice, remarking that McDonald's seemed to be causing unnecessary confusion. He questioned the logic behind the POS system generating a receipt for chilli sauce, an item that is not intended for sale.

Got7's BamBam Set To Thrill KL Fans By Performing A Local Song Of Their Choice!

Commonly, many of us would like to avoid paying taxes if given a choice. However, the act of refraining from paying taxes will lead to major consequences we never thought of. 
Recently, a notable celebrity doctor shared a few videos through his TikTok account <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@say_shazril0">@say_shazril0</a> on his unpleasant experience of dealing with the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) when he was contacted back in October 2020. He shared the incident he experienced to warn and urge the public to pay their taxes responsibly, especially YouTubers, influencers, TikTokers, and any freelancers who thought they were smart enough to escape from it.

Looking back at that moment, he received a letter from LHDN and was summoned by them to come to their office due to him not paying taxes for the vast and numerous content he posted on social media. 
Previously, he thought it was a scam but when a second letter came to knock at his door, he was like &ldquo;Shit, this was real!&rdquo; 
When he arrived at the LHDN office, piles of documents were presented to him and that led him to feel shocked as to how they were able to trace all the evidence of the social media campaign he did for several brands since 2016. 
As such, you can&rsquo;t avoid your responsibility, right? 
Dr. Shazril looked so "kantoi-ed" when he knew he couldn&rsquo;t hide as a means to protect himself when the truth was revealed in front of his eyes. 
The interrogation went on for hours and he was questioned on how much he charged for each campaign as well as his earnings for both shows named Tanya Doktor and MyDoctors. With that, he disclosed everything truthfully just so it would be easier for both parties. 
According to LHDN, they investigated that Dr. Shazril owned a few assets such as a house, car, and motorcycle, and from there, they realized he earned RM160,000 annually between 2018 and 2019. 
Fortunately, the interrogation was merely a &ldquo;test&rdquo; as LHDN wanted to know if Dr. Shazril was a truthful person.

After a thorough calculation from LHDN, apparently, he only needed to pay a total of RM50,000 to them but still, he was cracking his head as to how he was able to settle his tax liabilities in a month. 
Thankfully, an LHDN officer named Raihan was polite and supportive enough to manage his case. He requested him to search for all his receipts just so he could reduce his tax liabilities. In the end, from RM50,000, he managed to reduce the enormous amount to RM40,000! Moreover, another good news came when he was allowed to pay it on a few installment basis. So to say, his hard work of searching through highs and lows was worthwhile to ease his burden at least.

It can be said that Dr. Shazril truly learned his lesson. Now, he cultivates the habit of keeping all the receipts, arranging and sorting them accordingly for his own track record just so he can prove to LHDN whenever they are in quest of him. 
In one of his videos, he said, &ldquo;Pay your taxes. This is what contributes to the economy. Don&rsquo;t be like the old me, and fulfil your responsibilities.&rdquo;

This is to say, be it young or old, paying taxes is an inevitable process that everyone has to go through and is required to commit to.

When contemplating our meal options, chicken rice invariably crosses our thoughts, whether it's for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
A simple and easily prepared meal that can fill our stomach with delicious bites. Yet a decent meal with a bowl of rice and a plate of chicken can be hauntingly hefty if you unknowingly venture to a Michelin restaurant!
When Chicken Rice Robs Your Money
Some customers are willing to shell out for an expensive meal, while others are not. A recent diner named Edwin Lu, who indulged in a delectable chicken rice feast at Wong Mei Kee restaurant, was left utterly flabbergasted and bemused when he received a bill exceeding RM80 for the entire meal!

However flabbergasted Edwin felt, still there was a menu showing the variety of food with its quoted prices. This is to say he had the opportunity to look at it before ordering but why the surprise? 
A Michelin Restaurant
Edwin may not have been aware that the restaurant holds a Michelin star. In fact, this restaurant often referred to colloquially as the "Datuk roast pork" eatery, is owned by an individual who has been honoured with the title of Datuk. Consequently, patrons like Edwin are not only paying for the delectable chicken rice but also for the prestige associated with the owner's Datukship and the high-quality cuisine served at the establishment.

In the past few weeks, Malaysia Airlines (MAS) has become a prominent topic on social media. Historically, MAS has been renowned for its exceptional hospitality and service, often considered one of the finest among Malaysia's domestic airlines.
Frequent travellers, whether within the country or abroad, have typically preferred MAS for their air travel. Nevertheless, the airline has recently faced negative attention due to extensive critique of its in-flight dining options.

For those who might not be aware, the airline has ended its long-standing partnership with Brahim's Holdings Bhd, which had been its in-flight caterer for more than 25 years, making the end of terrible in-flight meals as they have been subjected to heavy criticism. While the plan was to transition to MAS Awana, their subsidiary catering service, the process has encountered some challenges.

MAS X AirAsia Santan?

Recently, Tony Fernandes, the CEO of Capital A, has expressed interest in a potential partnership between AirAsia's subsidiary airline caterer, Santan, and Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) to offer in-flight meals. He also mentioned his openness to a joint venture with MAG for the acquisition of the remaining 70% stake in Brahim's Food Service (BFS) Sdn Bhd.
&ldquo;If AirAsia and Malaysia Airlines work together, we could make so much business together. That kitchen can go to Thailand, it can go everywhere,&rdquo; he stated.
This proposal for a joint venture may have arisen in response to the criticism MAS received regarding its in-flight food offerings. Passengers on certain flights were advised to "Bring Your Own Food," and currently, only specific routes provide meal options. Short-haul flights receive pre-packaged meals, while long-haul flights receive revised meal offerings.

Nonetheless, Fernandes indicated that the feasibility of this partnership would be contingent on the cost of acquiring the 70% stake in Brahim's. He expressed reservations about the RM129 million price, excluding any goodwill, as he found it to be somewhat excessive. Furthermore, he mentioned that Capital A had already expressed interest in having Santan collaborate with MAS long before the MAS-Brahim partnership concluded. Additionally, he challenged the perception that BFS held a monopoly in the airline catering industry, asserting that there were numerous other viable options in the market.
Is Santan The Best Choice For Airline Catering?

Given the relatively limited options available, Santan appears to meet the criteria as a suitable company to assist in catering for MAS. Additionally, Santan boasts an extensive menu, and numerous netizens have voiced their opinion that Santan's in-flight cuisine ranks among the most flavourful airline meals in Southeast Asia.

Having personally sampled a variety of meals provided by Santan on flights, I can attest that they are quite delicious. I would particularly recommend the 'Thai Basil Chicken with Rice' and their 'Bukhara Chicken Biryani,' both of which offer a satisfying burst of flavours, ensuring a fulfilling in-flight dining experience.
While the prospect of MAS enlisting Santan as their meal provider seems promising, there remains a question regarding the suitability of Santan's offerings for Business and First-Class passengers, who may have different culinary expectations during their flights.

Chinese Tourists Disappointed With The In-Flight Nasi Lemak Meal

Recently, a female tourist hailing from Shanghai, China, expressed her disappointment regarding the meal she purchased during her flight from Bali, Indonesia. She took to the Chinese social media platform <a href="https://www.xiaohongshu.com/explore/6501c5d2000000001e02fdfb">Xiao Hong Shu</a> to share her experience, describing the in-flight meal as "outrageous." The Nasi Lemak she ordered was priced at RM22, but her main concern stemmed from feeling deceived as the meal did not resemble the promotional images.
It's common for promotional images to be used for illustrative purposes, but the woman was visibly dissatisfied with the meal she received on the flight. She also remarked that the taste was unappetizing.

&ldquo;The food had absolutely nothing to do with the picture shown. The taste of the food is not good, the sambal is hard to eat and the curry has too much seasoning,&rdquo; said the woman.
While having a layover at KLIA, she decided to purchase a meal from Burger King for RM28. Despite the burger meal costing RM6 more than the in-flight Nasi Lemak, she found the burger to be much more satisfying and enjoyable to eat.

Many comments expressed that the meal was perfectly fine, suggesting that the woman could have mixed it to enhance the flavour. Some even speculated that the taste might be more suited to local preferences rather than those of foreigners.

Criticism On Food 
As food can be a very sensitive topic for Malaysians, it&rsquo;s no surprise that a food post can attract a lot of attention online. Previously Malaysia Airlines parted ways with Brahim Foods as their in-flight catering and so far, it&rsquo;s pretty much created chaos after they told passengers can bring their own food for selected flights.

Though it's great that people can bring their choice of food on the flight, it also comes with sacrifices as there have been several posts online of netizens complaining about their food service for being &ldquo;mediocre&rdquo;.
