During a concert of Hong Kong famous boy band, MIRROR, one of the giant LED screens had fallen and injured 2 of the performers.
Videos of the incident are circulating the internet as it showed a screen falling right on a dancer's head and body before it flips and falls onto the other performer.
The two injured dancers were sent to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital last night. One was admitted in the intensive care unit with a neck injury and the other victim had sustained a head injury but is currently stable.

&nbsp;&ldquo;Some other girls among the audience were crying. Another friend, who&rsquo;s a mother, questioned why such a horrible, unacceptable incident could happen in Hong Kong, at the Coliseum.&rdquo;

The government has suspended the concert and the usage of the venue until it is proven safe.

Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee said: &ldquo;[I] offer my condolences to the injured, wishing them a speedy recovery,&rdquo;
He asked the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) to form a task force and investigate this incident.
This incident was later labeled as a &lsquo;serious industrial accident&rsquo;.
The concert was later dismissed

The concert organizers, Music Nation and MakerVille publicly apologized four hours after the show and announced that the rest of the show will be dismissed.
They vowed to fully investigate the cause of the accident and update the public officially.
&ldquo;Regarding the discomfort caused to the audiences and other people affected, we feel deeply sorry,&rdquo; they apologized and promised that tickets refund will be arranged.

It is not new for murder cases to be adapted into TV series to entertain viewers. Previously, serial killers such as Ted Bundy, Edmund Kemper, Charles Mandon, John Wayne Gacy were introduced as characters through the imaginations of some creators.&nbsp;
These shows have attracted the attention of the public, turning into sensations on social media. The killer Ted Bundy was trending on Tik Tok after the movie Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile and the documentary Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes had gone viral.&nbsp;
The hashtag #TedBundy has gained about one billion views on Tik Tok while #JeffreyDahmer has 1.3 billion views.&nbsp;
On Tik Tok, there were attempts by some users to create a similar ambience filled with anxiety and tension in those films or shows, which sparked criticism over the romanticisation of murders.

<h2>Making Profits Out Of The Pain Of Victims&rsquo; Families</h2>
Such adaptations raise the question of whether it is appropriate to gain interests from tragedies that might traumatise the victims&rsquo; families.&nbsp;
Netflix seemed to have an answer to this question as it delineated the miniseries as &ldquo;giving the victims a voice&rdquo;. However, their families certainly didn&rsquo;t think so.
Sister of one of the victims, Rita Isbell, told Insider that she had not been reached out by Netflix for the consultation of the show.&nbsp;
&nbsp;"I was never contacted about the show. I feel like Netflix should've asked if we mind or how we felt about making it.
"They didn't ask me anything. They just did it." She said. Her testimony at the Jeffrey Dahmer trial was duplicated in the series.
Another cousin of the same victim, Eric Perric, expressed his disappointment and dissatisfaction upon Netflix&rsquo;s decision to leave the family&rsquo;s consents aside in creating the TV series involving them by commenting on twitter:&nbsp;

If you think that toll operators are not doing anything about it, oh how you&rsquo;re very wrong. Highway operator Prolintas is now actively clamping down the toll evaders along the Ampang &ndash; Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH).
Recently, the Prolintas had caught one of the motorists in the act who&rsquo;s apparently been frequently tailgating pass toll booths. Rather than keeping quiet about it, the team had decided to share the news on their official Prolintas AKLEH Twitter page as a warning to all toll evaders.

The motorist driving a red Proton X50 was caught at the Dato Keramat toll plaza at 10:07pm on Tuesday. The said motorist has been avoiding tolls for quite a while now and had a total of RM57.50 in toll arrears.

On a good note, the driver had paid the full amount on the spot after being asked to pay. Prolintas says that they will continue on to watch for toll invaders and will be apprehending those irresponsible drivers. Things could have been worse for the man as he wasn&rsquo;t issued a fine.
For those caught tailgating to evade toll payments, there are a set of laws behind and drivers could be charged under Sections 42 and 43 of the Road Traffic Act 1987 which punishes those driving in a reckless, dangerous, careless or even in an inconsiderate manner. If guilty, it could land you in jail for up to five years and/or a fine up to RM15,000.
Aside from that, you could also be guilty under Section 279 of the Penal Code where drivers will be punished for rash driving that is harmful to other motorist. If guilty, one can face up to six months of jailtime and/or a fine of up to RM2,000. Meanwhile, evading tolls alone means that you can end up in court and be charged under Section 8 of the Federal Roads (Private Management) Act 1984 which can lead to a fine of up to RM5,000.
Yikes, I don&rsquo;t think any of us would want end up in court and potentially serve jailtime and paying a hefty fine. Imagine if you were caught in the action and ended up on Twitter, now that&rsquo;s pretty embarrassing.

Watch ‘Gyeongseong Creature’ On Netflix To Join The Monster Hunt In Korea!

Fearing a new wave of infections, Moderna&rsquo;s Covid-19 booster shot for the new strains of the Omicron variant was tested by European Medicines Agency.&nbsp;
The vaccine was designed to tackle the BA.4 and BA.5 types of the Omicron variant, which is an updated version of Spikevax.&nbsp;
The validation of the shot will make it the second amongst other approaches employed by EU. However, European Medicines Agency did not indicate the date that it would be officially approved.&nbsp;

<h2>Fight New Strains Of Omicron Variant&nbsp;</h2>
Although the Covid-19 vaccines developed in the past are able to protect people against new variants to some extent, there have been attempts to create shots dedicated to combat Omicron strains that are deemed as milder but more infectious.
While variants such as Alpha and Delta have somewhat faded, Omicron continued to mutate and haunt people in 2022. In fact, the BA.4 and BA. 5 types of Omicron have caused new cases to break out in Europe in the last few months.
In July this year, the <a href="https://www.nst.com.my/news/nation/2022/07/811841/malaysia-entering-new-covid-19-wave-omicron-ba5-variant-hits-nsttv">detection of the BA.5 variant </a>in Malaysia also induced panic that it would give rise to another wave of high cases.&nbsp;
The EU medicine watchdog gave approval to Pfizer/ BioNTech&rsquo;s bivalent vaccine for the Omicron BA.4 and BA.5 strains, aiding Pfizer and Moderna that aim to fight BA,1 type.
Anti-Omicron vaccines have also been approved by Britain, Canada, and the United States.
Moderna&rsquo;s new jab would join the rest to become part of the solutions to the high numbers of infections of Omicron variants.&nbsp;

<h2>New Omicron Strains In Malaysia?</h2>
With the stabilisation of Covid-19 cases marked by <a href="https://www.thesundaily.my/local/new-covid-19-cases-drop-almost-5-HK9873393">a drop of 5% </a>in Malaysia, the government decided to lift some SOPs such as the mandatory masking policy. This seems to imply the fight against Covid-19 has abated, slowly returning the lives of people back to pre-Covid era.&nbsp;
Other countries across the globe also slightly put off the fight by loosening the SOPs.&nbsp;
Despite the decrease in the number of Covid-19 cases, EMA reminded the countries that the pandemic is still &ldquo;ongoing&rdquo;, urging them to initiate booster programmes at the end of the year as cases are assumed to surge in winter.

Therefore, this one teacher was surprised upon seeing a Year One student who wore a jacket and refused to remove it.
The teacher was determined because the boy was acting weirdly. When he finally removed it, the teacher saw some bruises and swelling at the back of his head, without further ado, the boy was sent to the senior assistant office to take further actions.&nbsp;

Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said that the updated vaccines would be freely provided to high-risks groups such as those in their old age or with severe diseases.
