For the longest time, Malaysia has been a multicultural country where many races live together in peace and harmony.

But sometimes, we always have a point where our culture is divided due to many beliefs and practices and it can also divide us from spending time with one another.
&nbsp;But recently, a TikTok video had gone viral as a Malaysian Chinese family showed what it means to be a good neighbour even with the smallest of gestures.&nbsp;

The Chinese family had threw a birthday party for their kid and could not invite their neighbour which is a Malay family as the food being served was non-halal. &nbsp;But despite not being able to invite to invite them, the Chinese family had still made their neighbours feel loved and welcomed as they had bought them KFC.
TikTok user Eikin Hanipah&rsquo;s video had touched the hearts of many, and explained that they were deeply touched with the gesture. In fact, Eikin and her family had also promised to cook their neighbour&rsquo;s favourite rice noodles to return the favour to them.
Most of the time, we would see pretty negative messages on social media on how racially divided we are and it&rsquo;s rare to see positive messages like this go online.
Netizens thank Ekin for spreading positivity
Many netizens took to the comment section to show support and thank her for sheading a light of positivity on TikTok as it&rsquo;s something many Malaysians need to see. Plus some had even shared more positive messages about their experiences too.

Man, now that&rsquo;s what I call a good neighbour. It&rsquo;s sad to say though if you&rsquo;re living in the city, the chances if you to get to know your neighbours is pretty slim but it&rsquo;s also depending on how sociable they are with one another.
