<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fashion is an ever evolving industry, it changes according to the time and interest of its community. While on the other hand, faith is something firm and fixed, not fickle to anyone&rsquo;s interest.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Hijab:</strong> In the context of Islam, it is used to describe the general rules of dress and modesty for both men and women.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #e03e2d;"><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">Although it usually refers to the headscarf only, hijab in Islam actually refers to the whole clothing itself.</span></em></span></p>
<p><strong>How did this happen?</strong></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Islam was recognize as the world&rsquo;s fastest religion and were estimated to have a 32% increase by 2060.&nbsp; Relatively, more than one-third of them are the young generations who live up to the trends and technologies.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Their interest in fashion have made room for this &lsquo;modest clothing&rsquo; to evolve in the fashion industry. It can be from 2 directions, Muslim designers who started their own fashion brands and the existing fashion brands who started to cater to their Muslim consumers.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">From there, Muslim wear doesn&rsquo;t limit to those plain black abaya with burka but also the branded printed scarf, oversized top and wide legged pants.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">With the existing international Muslim brands like, Hana Tajima Ibtihaj Muhammad, modest wear is now being recognized internationally and being worn by people from various different cultural and religious backgrounds. This is because, just like any other fashion trends, </span><strong>modest wear is for everyone</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span></p>

They wanted to insist that Islam doesn&rsquo;t go against modernity as long as you are holding firm to the meaning of hijab itself.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Plus, going into the fashion industry will make people more familiar with the cultures and beliefs of the Muslim themselves. This may be one of the way of making people to drop the old sentiments they have against Muslim people around the world. <span style="color: #e03e2d;"><em>We can do this! 💪</em></span></span></p>

<p>In a momentous and unprecedented move, Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost of Chicago has been elected as Pope Leo XIV, becoming the first American to assume the papacy in the history of the Roman Catholic Church. <p><strong>A Life of Service: From Chicago to Peru and Beyond</strong></p>

<p>Born in 1955 in Chicago to Spanish and Franco-Italian parents, Prevost was raised in a devout Catholic household and ordained in 1982. Just three years later, he embarked on a missionary journey to Peru, where he would serve for over two decades&mdash;first as a parish priest and seminary teacher in Trujillo, then later as Bishop of Chiclayo.</p>
<p>Prevost&rsquo;s deep ties to Peru led to his eventual naturalisation as a Peruvian citizen. He remains a beloved figure in the country, particularly among marginalised communities, where he was known for advocating for the poor, fostering inclusion, and promoting social justice. Upon news of his election, the bells of Lima&rsquo;s cathedral rang in celebration, and President Dina Boluarte joyously declared, &ldquo;The Pope is Peruvian; God loves Peru!&rdquo;</p>

<p>It&rsquo;s also worth noting that the new 4.5% SPayLater fee is subject to Malaysia&rsquo;s 8% Sales and Service Tax (SST), effectively making the total cost to sellers even higher.</p>

<p>While Shopee has highlighted that SPayLater can increase a seller&rsquo;s gross merchandise value by offering flexible payments to buyers, it has not justified the fee hike directly or provided any context for the additional cost burden. The omission has left many sellers feeling alienated, especially as BNPL platforms typically share costs across both buyers and sellers in a more transparent manner.</p>

<p>As sellers scramble to adjust to the updated fee structure, questions remain about Shopee&rsquo;s long-term strategy and its impact on small and medium-sized businesses. If costs continue to rise without improved support or clearer communication, more sellers like Loh may look to alternative platforms or offline sales.</p>
<p>For now, the 4.5% fee for SPayLater orders will go into effect from 8 May 2025, and sellers will have no choice but to comply &mdash; or reconsider their future on the platform.</p>

When the night arrived, it turned out to be more than just a gathering&mdash;it was a heartfelt celebration of their journey and an intimate thank-you to fans.</p>
<p>In appreciation of the fans who have supported them through thick and thin, MASDO performed a live mini showcase featuring some of their most beloved hits. Songs such as <em>Dinda</em>, <em>Lautan Asmara</em>, <em>Janji Manis</em>, <em>Bunga</em>, and <em>Berchanda di Malam Indah</em> echoed through the venue, with fans singing along and soaking in the retro vibes that have become the band&rsquo;s trademark.</p>

<p>This milestone show will be held at Idea Live Arena KL @ 3 Damansara, a brand-new venue with a 7,000-capacity. MASDO will be the first act to perform there, promising fans a high-energy yet intimate experience steeped in nostalgia and celebration.</p>

<p>Fans eager to be part of this momentous occasion can pre-register for early bird Rockzone tickets priced at RM128 between 30 April and 1 May. Once public sales begin, tickets will be available at RM148 for Rockzone (free standing) and RM198 for Category 1 (seated).</p>

<p>Speaking to the media after the event, band members Ali Sariah, Asmawi, and Putu Ceri expressed their heartfelt gratitude to fans. &ldquo;For them to turn up here itself is a fantastic gift for all of us,&rdquo; said Ali.
