That’s exactly what Bang Chan, the leader of the K-Pop group Stray Kids is feeling when he receives a special mention from his idol, Ryan Reynolds.

The interaction between these two celebrities started when the Canadian actor replied to a fan-edited video of Deadpool and the band’s performance on Kingdom: Legendary War.

Although it was a short and simple mention, it blew the K-pop idol’s mind.

Following the special mention, Bang Chan —whose real name is Christopher Bang— has changed his Bubble’s (a messaging app for idols to interact with their fans) display name to “Chris Reynolds”, making his admiration towards the actor more apparent.

“I did not expect the one — the almighty one, the one — the Ryan Reynolds to actually see our performance. That was actually crazy. I was really lost for words,” he said in a livestream over the weekend.

He also offered to be the actor’s tour guide the next time he visits South Korea. “If you ever come to visit Korea, I will definitely buy you some delicious food, so feel free to hit me up,” Chan said.

However, the interaction did not stop there. The K-pop world is once again taken by storm when the Deadpool actor posted a picture of him holding an autographed bottle of Reynolds’ Aviation Gin addressed to the idol. In the same tweet, he added that he would like an autograph as a new fan of the group.

Stray Kids’ fandom called STAYs are making sure that the precious interaction is seen by everyone, including those who don’t know about the K-pop group. The actor’s name is trending worldwide, with the tweet garnering over 98,500 retweets and 177,100 likes in the span of ten hours.

Not only that, the Deadpool Movie’s official Twitter account also posted a screencap of Bang Chan wearing the anti-hero’s mask with a funny caption.

Fans are saying that Reynolds has taken a real liking to the Australian K-pop idol when he replied to the tweet saying they should send him a real Deadpool mask.

Despite the joy that the fandom is feeling, some fans are quick to remind the others that they should not overwhelm the actor with mentions of Stray Kids in his tweets.
