Malaysians know the struggle of driving around in Kuala Lumpur. Everyday without fail, you&rsquo;ll probably see your friends venting about the traffic jam or how difficult it is to find parking when going out.

With many people living within the city, there comes a time where we need new highways to get around the city more smoothly. Hence the introduction of the recently opened Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE) which boasts a total of 24.4km of roadways which connects the Sri Petaling District with Ulu-Kelang.

In fact, the sheer engineering of the highway structure has been the talk of the town due to its structure and two spiral loops at the Cheras-Kajang interchange which merges into the highway. Another reason why many were talking about the highway is due to the incredible view that the highway offers of the Kuala Lumpur city skyline.
Issue of signboards
When driving, everyone knows we Malaysians tend to miss turns every now and then due to poor signage. Despite the highway being new, the lack of signboards wasn&rsquo;t the issue but more of how small one of the signboards is on the highway.
Netizens had recently discovered that while travelling along the highway, you probably need an extra pair of eyes or binoculars to spot and read the signboard for you.

TikTok user <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@jeppwaksalam/video/7144756781431000347?is_copy_url=1&amp;is_from_webapp=v1&amp;item_id=7144756781431000347">@jeppwaksalam</a> had shared a video as he passed a fork in the road which featured a hilariously small sign board indicating the direction of the road. At the time of writing this, the video had gained 139.8K views and 5K likes on the platform.
When you watch the video, you can&rsquo;t help see that the sign board was only properly visible once you&rsquo;ve driven at either end of the fork.

Another TikTok user <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@bob_yp/video/7144013092320513307?is_copy_url=1&amp;is_from_webapp=v1&amp;item_id=7144013092320513307&amp;q=bob_yp&amp;t=1663652278474">@bob_yp</a> shared a video showing that the left side of the road leads to Hulu Langat and the other side of it leads to Ampang, Tasik Tambahan and Jalan Taman Putera.
Now thats a pretty small signboards. Imagine taking the wrong turn, oh boy we&rsquo;re gonna be on for one heck of a long ride. 
Netizens left amused
As expected, the small signage had really left many people amused. It&rsquo;s not everyday we see something like this.

Some of the comments by netizens highlighted that despite having the budget to build the highway, perhaps they ran out of budget for sign boards. Someone even joked that they probably ordered the signboard off Shopee😂
For the next time you&rsquo;re planning to head onto the SUKE highway, perhaps you gotta check out Shopee first and get yourself a pair of binoculars to see the signboard from a distance.

All jokes aside, I do hope that authorities have plans of fixing the small signboards as it could seriously cause some inconveniences to many motorists on the road.
