Founded by journalist and entrepreneur Matija Babic, <a href="https://www.tasteatlas.com/">Taste Atlas</a> is a Croatian- based project attempting to provide information about flavours, traditional dishes, local ingredients and authentic restaurants.
There are about 30 authors and researchers working to catalogue such facts, recording more than 10,000 foods and drinks as well as 9,000 restaurants all around the world.
Two days ago, TasteAtlas posted on Facebook about the top 50 street food list.&nbsp;

There was a voting system allowing the users to select their choices of best street food, which were examined by AI to detect the authenticity of their options, guaranteeing that they would not be made by robots.&nbsp;
From the result, it can be perceived that roti canai is the No. 1 in the list. However, the website of Taste Atlas shows that roti canai in Malaysia is positioned as the second-best street food after Guotie, a type of Chinese dumpling.

Indeed, our taste for foods is mostly subjective. That&rsquo;s why it&rsquo;s intriguing to know what others think about that, especially those from different cultures and social backgrounds.

Malaysia’s Roti Canai Is The Top 1 Street Food Around The Globe! 

Ever thought of bringing your pets on a flight but are not too sure how they&rsquo;ll be treated?
Well, if you&rsquo;re looking to travel with your furry friends, this post may delight you to see how well treated they are onboard a plane!
Recently, Tommy Suriwong had trended on <a href="https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10159570403533393&amp;set=gm.1203201773567897&amp;type=3&amp;mibextid=S66gvF">Facebook</a> as he brought his two doggos on a Singapore Airlines (SIA) flight from San Francisco to Singapore and it had caught the attention of many on social media as well as those during the flight!
The corgis name Mindy and Peanut were even given &ldquo;celebrity treatment&rdquo; by the crew with them taking selfies and even giving them cuddles and pats.
Let&rsquo;s just say these dogs are super lucky to have a nice comfy space on board the plane.
Comfortable Journey In Business Class

You heard it here, the doggos and owner Tommy Suriwong had travelled in Business class. He explained that he and his family had relocated from the Bay Area to Thailand thus bringing their dogs along on their one-way ride to Thailand.
For those who don&rsquo;t know, the flight from San Francisco to Singapore takes approximately 17-hours. Fortunately, the dogs were seated very comfortably with their owners. In his post, he mentioned that the dogs were very well behaved and had &ldquo;mostly slept and cuddled&rdquo; throughout the flight.
Singapore Airlines Next Level Treatment

So, how did the doggos get on board of the plane? Don&rsquo;t pets normally need to be on a carrier?
Generally speaking, pets are not allowed in the flight cabbin unless they are assistance and emotional support dogs. But Mindy and Peanut were an exception in this case.
SIA&rsquo;s website states that a small dog may sit on its human&rsquo;s lap and larger dogs will be required to sit on the cabin floor in front of the passenger seat.

Additional steps such as moisture-absorbent materials will also need to be placed on the cabin floor beneath the dog at all times in case of incidents such as the dogs peeing or defecating. Here are some other additional rules: - Dogs must not occupy a seat. - Dogs must be kept leashed or in a pet carrier at all times. - Dogs must not obstruct the legroom of other customers. - Dogs must not block the aisle or emergency exit. 
In the case of Mindy and Peanut, their owners were prepared to bring their dogs on the flight as they brought baby wipes, packing pee pads and even poop bags for their trip. Additionally, they had also changed up their dogs feeding and water schedule a month prior to their relocation to ensure that they won&rsquo;t be making a mess during the flight. Prior to their flight, the couple had even played sounds of an airplane on YouTube to get the dogs familiar with the flight condition.

If you thought that was all, the dogs were also brought to the airport a few weeks prior to the flight to meet with the on-ground crew too! To ease up the dogs potential fear during take off and landing, the couple had fed them gabapentin which is a medication which helps with dogs anxiety.

A thing to note is that a SIA spokesperson has confirmed that both Mindy and Peanut are emotional support dogs hence why they can travel in the cabin of the flight.

We all know the importance of WhatsApp as it&rsquo;s one of few messaging apps out there that helps link people together. From individual chats, group chats to even introducing a call feature! They pretty much have it all.
It&rsquo;s seen many updates over the years and truth be told, all of them are pretty useful. In fact, the only update that many don&rsquo;t frequently use is the &ldquo;Status Update&rdquo; which is similar to an Instagram Story which expires in 24 hours.
New Update Coming Through
This time around, WhatsApp is rolling out a feature which is called &ldquo;Message Yourself&rdquo;. As the name states, it will now allow you to send messages to yourself so if you&rsquo;re not font of using a notebook, this is the next best thing!

Sometimes when you search a name on your contacts list and by chance the person shares the same name as you, you&rsquo;ll likely see a chat that says &ldquo;(You)&rdquo; on it. Some other tips is that users can pin their self-chat messages to the top of the conversation if they don&rsquo;t want to search for it. This is a useful feature as we all know how cluttered a chat list ca be. But if there&rsquo;s anything important such as passwords, we don&rsquo;t entirely recommend you keeping that in WhatsApp in case you get hacked.
No more needing to create a group chat and kicking someone out so you&rsquo;ll be the only member left inside there. If you&rsquo;re one who does not really like using WhatsApp, you can do the same with Telegram which has the same features since their launch.

In this era of technology most youths do not enjoy reading books as most information is easily accessible at the tip of their fingers and with a click of a button.

The approach of reading books in this generations is way different than previous generations. For instance we could look at Booktok the biggest book club was had been blooming all over social media.
A survey was recently done by Publishers Association shows that those aged 16-25 are keen to search the latest topics to read and expand their knowledge. Booktok had a great impact on the youths especially on some cultural habits. At least 59% of them were sharing how booktok helped them discover that they had love and passion for reading.
Tiktok has noticed an increase of book recommendations in the past years, #Booktok alone has over 91 billion views.
This type of content has even boosted sales figures for some of the books. The books which had high demand from the app were The Song Of Achilles by Madeline Miller, Heartstopper by Alice Oseman and the Grishaverse novels by Leigh Bardugo.

The literacy network introduced by Tiktok was the major factor why these&nbsp; books were selling so fast since Booktok acted as a recommendation agent for the younger generation. Many of them watched videos of influencers who are bookworms introducing them to new book releases. The statistics show those aged 16-25 had returned back to the Booktok community to seek advice on the latest read rather than asking their family and friends.
Reading Should Be Back In Trend Not Just Tik Tok Sounds
The chief executive of Publish Association shared that it is great to see Booktok developing passion for reading for the youths. It's great to see that (it) is igniting a love of reading for young people. Reading can be so beneficial to health and happiness, and is a way for all ages to connect over common interests.
BookTok's strength when it comes to recommendations is also a big hit with publishers and book professionals. And for good reason, nearly half of those who participated int he survey said that they recently went to a bookstore to buy a book they heard about on TikTok. 
Booktook is actually boosting the entire sector and creates great pleasure for those in the industry.
Chrissy Ryan decided to open her own bookshop after serving the publication industry for 6 years. She opened a Bookbar in the heart of London. A very friendly space where fellow bibliophiles could enjoy reading books through their phones.
"More and more we are seeing young people come to the shop asking for books they discovered on TikTok. We are increasingly looking to BookTok to help determine our stock and predict demand. It&rsquo;s exciting to see that BookTok has helped make reading cool again," she explained.
She expressed on how excited she was looking at the response from Booktok and she expressed how Booktok made reading a cool thing to do.

It&rsquo;s the World Cup season and we all know what that means. It&rsquo;s the time where many football fans come gather at the mamak together to watch their favourite teams battle off one another for the title of the FIFA World Cup world champion.

As how FIFA wrote, &ldquo;In victory or defeat, there is always respect. Thank you for helping to #SaveThePlanet, Japan fans!&rdquo;
One thing to highlight is that it&rsquo;s common to see many Japanese fans to see them clean up after an event. No matter where they are in the world or what event it is, the event space will always look clean.

&ldquo;For Japanese people, this is just a normal thing to do. When you leave a place, you have to leave it cleaner than it was before,&rdquo; said Japan&rsquo;s football team coach, Hajime Moriyasu.
The type of trash picked hardly mattered to the Japanese fans as well. From half empty- bottles of soda to even dirty napkins, they&rsquo;ll pick all of them up.
Japanese fan Eiji Hattori commented that it&rsquo;s a sign of respect for a place. &ldquo;This place is not ours, so we should clean up if we use it. And even if it is not our garbage, it&rsquo;s still dirty, we should clean it up&rdquo;.
&ldquo;We believe we can make this contagious. We don&rsquo;t need to push anyone to clean but if we start, maybe we can be a good example of respect,&rdquo; said another fan, Tomomi Kishikawa.
Inspiring Others To Do Their Part And Clean Up
With how well-behaved the Japanese fans are, it&rsquo;s inspired many other fans from different countries to do the same and to clean up after their mess after a game.
FIFA also posted a video stating how they&rsquo;ve seen both Japanese and Moroccan fans were cleaning up, this time around they too want others to be inspired to help clean up and #SaveThePlanet.

Later on, it was spotted that France fans have joined in the movement to help clean up after the football match and those cleaning had gained the attention of the French Football Team&rsquo;s twitter account.

After a quick search on Twitter, the movement by the Japanese fans looks like its working as other fans such as Ghana and Iran were also spotted cleaning up after their mess on the stands.

One of the ways of encouraging people to clean up is seen by the culture which has deeply thought many Japanese people since young to clean up after their mess. The Japanese Football Association also hands out hundreds of plastic bags which says &ldquo;thank you&rdquo; written in Arabic, English and Japanese.

Hopefully we&rsquo;ll be seeing more of this movement from World Cup fans as not only that it shows discipline from fans but it also helps ease the workload of the workers to clean up the already large stadium.

Every year on 10 Dec we celebrate a very important occasion which helps us get through the phase of life.&nbsp;
The whole world celebrates Human Rights Day which is the key element of every human to live and voice out their thoughts and opinions.&nbsp;

If that right is taken away from us we would end up being followers and puppets as our opinions would be suppressed and not heard by leaders. Not everyone loves to take in the opinions of others, they prefer having things done their own way thus we might feel some individuals are dominating and we do not get along with them at all.
Naturally we as humans do not like the idea of getting corrected but according to George Orwell, &ldquo; If Liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.
According to Article 10 of ECHR we have the right to express.
In accordance with specific limitations that are "in accordance with the law" and "essential in a democratic society," Article 10 guarantees the right to freedom of expression. This right encompasses the freedom to create opinions and the freedom to receive and impart knowledge and ideas, but it is subject to the following limitations:

If we look at a legal point of view, expression will fall under those statues but personally all of us feel there is something hindering us from discovering our full potential. All of us have this invisible wall that we are scared to break and most of us are prisoners of circumstances.
We put on a facade to face the world but deep down inside we all know what song that our heart sings and what we really want to do.
Let look at some of the fears that we face on a daily basis:&nbsp;
(1) Loneliness

Sometimes, people's dread of loneliness that keeps them from living alone or even encourages them to stay in unhealthy partnerships. Or, people may use social media excessively out of a fear of being alone, missing out on opportunities to meet new people in person. 
Some of us tend not speak up in any relationship or friendship because we are too afraid that it may cause an argument. We are always afraid that the person might leave us. This causes the other party&nbsp; having a heavy heart and they&nbsp; do not convey what we really feel inside.
(2) Rejection

Many people navigate from activities like making new friends or attempting to start a new relationship. Even those who are already married may delay asking their long-term partner for something because they anticipate the response being a no. 
The fear of rejection could prevent you from moving forward, whether you're hesitant to ask that attractive individual out on a date or ask your boss for a raise. And if rejection hurts, it doesn't hurt as much as a lost chance. We should always try and fail but not fail to try. The law of averages will definitely be in our favour if we keep on trying without giving up easily.&nbsp;

Most of us tend to take a step back after a certain age to open up to people especially when we have a bad experience with friendship or relationship. But very often our fear of hurting ourselves causes us to become emotionally overprotective of ourselves. Your fear of unpleasant feelings and emotional wounds can keep you from making deep and meaningful connections. Or it can keep you from being vulnerable at work. 
But without emotional risk, there are no rewards. Whatever actions that you take will have a risk the issue to consider is, it is a minimal or huge risk. If the risk results in a lost we should not take too long to overcome it but take it as a learning and bounce back stronger.
(4)&nbsp; Inadequacy

The&nbsp; fear that many people share and have is the feeling of not being enough. If you feel like you can't keep up, you could become an underperformer.
