Whenever we sit for an SPM Examination, we are usually watched by invigilators in the examination hall because the misconduct of cheating has become a norm done by students with the hope of having flying colors in their results. 
Back then, only teachers were allowed to be invigilators but time has changed and now, the public too can apply themselves as an invigilator! 
Recently, the Ministry of Education has opened the application to the public to be the SPM invigilators for the upcoming Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM 2023). It is the first time implementation that the public can utilize this golden opportunity to be an invigilator!

This was announced by our Education Minister, Fadhlina Sidek on 17 February with the purpose of reducing teachers&rsquo; workload as well as preserving their welfare. 
However, every position has requirements. Therefore, with regard to eligibility, candidates have to meet all the imposed criteria by the Education Minister as posted officially via <a href="https://www.facebook.com/KemPendidikan/posts/704713485017096">Facebook. </a>
Requirements Needed To Be Fulfilled As A SPM Invigilator

<li>A Malaysian citizen</li>
<li>Age between 18 to 65</li>
<li>Having an SPM qualification, or equivalent</li>
<li>Zero criminal record or court actions</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Possess your own transport</li>
</ul>
In addition, the Ministry also touched on five applicant categories for interested applicants who would like to apply:
Five Categories Involved To Be Eligible
Category 1: Retired government employees. Category 2: Students from higher education institutes, teaching training institutes, foundation or matriculation graduates. Category 3: Teachers from state government religious secondary schools, private schools, or Mara Junior Science Colleges. Category 4: Workers of a Government contract. Category 5: Non-government employees or retired government as well as employees from the private sector 
Application Process
The application process is valid from September 12 to October 31 and applicants can liaise with the State Education director in your respective state via the <a href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeDNWGhrGDtswDDdockOzlhLjzs3JqFMVs7CqfmZKWnzadeMA/viewform">Google form.</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;
Successful applicants who are shortlisted as volunteer candidates will be called upon for an interview session at the respective district offices. So, those who make it for their interviews will be more than welcome to work for the position they applied for.

The good news is, the role of an invigilator includes a certain amount of allowance and the Education Minister has yet to announce the amount of allowance to be received. It will be provided as a token of appreciation for the efforts in helping teachers to reduce their workload and burden. 
This year&rsquo;s SPM Examination will begin from 5 December 2023 to 7 March 2024.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has postponed the scheduled cabinet vote on a ceasefire deal intended to halt the ongoing war in Gaza. The delay, which occurred just before a key meeting was set to take place on Thursday, has raised concerns about lingering disagreements that could potentially derail the hard-won truce. Netanyahu accused Hamas of trying to extract last-minute concessions before agreeing to the terms, which were finalised after months of mediation.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, a hardline figure in Netanyahu&rsquo;s coalition, has threatened to resign if the ceasefire deal goes through. He labelled the agreement as "reckless" and argued that it would undo the achievements of Israel&rsquo;s military campaign. Despite this, a majority of Israeli ministers are expected to back the deal, and the cabinet is likely to vote on it by Friday or Saturday.
Further complicating the situation, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, another right-wing member of Netanyahu&rsquo;s government, has also voiced opposition to the deal. Smotrich is demanding conditions for his support, including a return to military action if Hamas retains control of Gaza after the ceasefire&rsquo;s first phase. These internal disagreements reflect the deeply entrenched ideological divisions within Israel&rsquo;s political landscape.

The group consist of five members: leader Milk (Yeh Nai Wen), lead vocalist Edy (Hsiao Ching Hung), rapper and main dancer Toro (Kuo Wei Yun), vocalist and dancer KunDa (Hsieh Kun Da), and lead singer Shuwei (Chang Shu Wei). Energy quickly gained attention for their unique Rapcore sound, a blend of rap and rock elements that was relatively uncommon in the Mandopop scene at the time. Their energetic stage presence and intricate choreography drew comparisons to Korean boy bands, helping them stand out in the competitive music industry.

However, after years of activity, the group announced a hiatus in 2009, leaving fans uncertain about their future.
In January 2024, Energy surprised fans by reuniting with all five original members under B'in Music. This marked their highly anticipated return to the music scene after a 15-year hiatus. The reunion not only rekindled excitement among long-time fans but also introduced a new generation to their music.
