The case has been filed under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 (Act 792), a provision that specifically targets non-penetrative sexual offences against minors. According to Bukit Aman CID Sexual, Women, and Child Investigation Division principal assistant director Senior ACP Siti Kamsiah Hassan, the actor first encountered the teenager at a caf&eacute; where she was employed. Over the following weeks, they reportedly maintained contact, culminating in a private meeting at a hotel in Petaling Jaya.
Following the arrest, speculation ran rampant online. &ldquo;I understand that this is a very serious accusation. I know many have questions, and some are even shocked by this. But as the matter is still at its beginning, I will not comment further to avoid interfering with the legal process. I leave everything in the hands of the justice system,&rdquo; he said.
