Hey K-pop fans, get ready for an exciting treat this August! If you're an INSPIRIST, you're in luck because INFINITE's Sung-Kyu is heading to Malaysia as part of his Asia Tour "LC3: Let's Vacay," following the recent teaser drop.
Initially announced for Seoul, South Korea, Sung-Kyu's concert has now expanded into a tour. According to the official poster shared on X (formerly Twitter), Sung-Kyu will be making stops in Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Bangkok, and Hong Kong.
Now, this tour marks Sung-Kyu's debut solo concert in Malaysia, and to add to the excitement, he will be performing in Kuala Lumpur for two consecutive days!
Who is Sung-Kyu?
Kim Sung-Kyu is widely recognized as the leader and main vocalist of the South Korean boy band INFINITE. Known professionally as Sunggyu, he has also carved out a successful solo career, distinguishing himself as a talented singer-songwriter and actor.
He debuted with INFINITE in 2010 and quickly rose to fame for his compelling vocal abilities and charismatic stage presence. His solo career took off in November 2012 with his first extended play, "Another Me," which debuted at number one on the Gaon Album Chart. His subsequent EP, "27," released in 2015, continued his success, also reaching number one.
Sung-Kyu's musical style includes a mix of pop, rock, and ballads, showcasing his versatility across various genres. Some of his popular songs include "60 Seconds," "I Need You," and "True Love." Sung-Kyu is scheduled to perform on August 10th and 11th at Zepp Kuala Lumpur for a two-day concert during his upcoming Asia tour. The event is managed by D-SHOW, with Offbeat and 43 Agency serving as promoters. Ticket holders can enjoy various benefits.
