Amir passed away on November 13, 2024, after falling into a coma following an unscheduled training session on November 10.
His father, Muhammad Zaidi Abdul Rahman, recounted harrowing details of the incident, claiming his son was subjected to severe physical abuse. The training included having his chest stepped on, being ridden like a horse while performing horse-like movements, and forced to jump like a kangaroo. Shockingly, these acts were reportedly recorded by the trainer.
Zaidi also revealed that after Amir collapsed, he was left under the scorching sun for at least 30 minutes. Instead of calling an ambulance, the trainer transported him to Shah Alam Hospital, bypassing the nearer UiTM Medical Centre. Zaidi was only informed of his son&rsquo;s condition when the hospital sought consent to provide breathing aid. Tragically, Amir succumbed to his condition three days later.

The days of long queues at Rapid KL counters may soon be over. According to Transport Minister Anthony Loke, Prasarana Malaysia Berhad, in partnership with Touch &lsquo;n Go, has launched a digital version of the My50 Travel Pass, offering greater convenience for urban commuters.

&ldquo;This move aligns with our efforts to modernise public transport and push towards a fully digital and cashless society,&rdquo; said Loke during the launch. &ldquo;A world-class public transport system is not just about having trains and buses; it&rsquo;s also about seamless digital infrastructure.&rdquo;
How It Works: My50 on Your Phone

Alone During Semester Break

According to early investigations, the victim had been living in a shared condominium unit with five housemates. The court ruled that the prosecution had failed to prove the core elements of the offences, particularly the intent required for criminal breach of trust (CBT), misappropriation, and money laundering. According to the judgment, the failure to properly direct the trial and the misinterpretation of legal standards warranted full appellate intervention.

Syed Saddiq, 32, had been convicted in 2023 on four charges:
