She added that as soon as the issue was identified, AirAsia MOVE took immediate corrective action and reported the matter to its third-party pricing provider for resolution. In addition, the platform has implemented new safeguards to ensure similar issues do not occur in future.

Jordan, who has been backpacking solo through Southeast Asia and the Mediterranean for the past 18 months while working remotely for a US-based company, had arrived in Malaysia from Vietnam on 17 May. He was believed to be staying at the Robertson Residences in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.
Family Raises Alarm After Uncharacteristic Silence
His mother, Leanne Burnett, became alarmed when she didn&rsquo;t hear from him the following day, something she describes as completely out of character. The two last spoke on Monday, 26 May, with no indication of anything amiss.
&ldquo;He always checks in regularly because he knows how worried we get,&rdquo; she told the Daily Mail. &ldquo;If he had lost his phone or laptop, he knows my number by heart. He&rsquo;d go to a hotel or an internet caf&eacute; to get in touch. The silence is just not like him.&rdquo;

Official Statement from Organisers
In a detailed statement posted on Facebook, Live Universe Ent explained that the decision was made following &ldquo;careful consideration and in full respect of local laws, regulations, and cultural guidelines.&rdquo; The organiser maintained that all necessary requirements had been fulfilled but that, despite their efforts, the concert could not proceed as planned.

&ldquo;We regret to inform you that the K-pop Big 2 Super Concert featuring (G)I-DLE &amp; BamBam, originally scheduled for 14 June 2025 in Malaysia, has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control,&rdquo; the statement read.
&ldquo;While we fulfilled all necessary requirements, the event could not proceed as planned. We sincerely apologise to fans, artists, sponsors, and partners for any inconvenience caused.&rdquo;
The organiser also made clear that the announcement serves as the only official statement regarding the matter, urging the public not to spread unverified rumours or speculation.
Refunds to Be Issued via Ticket2U and TikTok Shop

To ease the fallout, Live Universe Ent has pledged to fully refund all ticket purchases. For those who purchased via Ticket2U, instructions on how to claim the refund will be emailed directly to ticket holders.
Additionally, the organiser addressed purchases made through TikTok, stating:
&ldquo;We will proceed to refund the payment directly to the buyer's account, as we have access to the relevant transaction details through our TikTok Shop system.&rdquo;
The team will contact affected buyers to confirm their email and bank account information to ensure a smooth and accurate refund process.

Despite the organiser&rsquo;s assurances, the announcement has left many fans feeling upset and misled. Social media platforms were quickly flooded with frustrated responses.
