When Will Squid Game Season 3 Premiere?

Although no official release date has been announced, strong evidence points to June 27, 2025. A now-deleted teaser posted by Netflix Korea briefly revealed this date, sparking excitement and speculation. While the video was swiftly replaced, showrunner Hwang Dong-hyuk has hinted that the series finale will arrive in the summer or autumn of 2025.
Hwang revealed that Seasons 2 and 3 were filmed back-to-back, with post-production currently underway. &ldquo;When I was writing the script for the two seasons, I felt like there was a big turning point at the end of Episode 7. That&rsquo;s why I divided the story into two seasons,&rdquo; he told Deadline. Fans can expect more updates following the success of Season 2.

One of the most intriguing developments for Squid Game Season 3 involves a potential spoiler from actor Park Gyu-Young, who portrayed Kang No-eul (Pink Guard 011) in Season 2. In a now-deleted Instagram post, Park shared a behind-the-scenes photo of herself in the familiar pink jumpsuit of the guards. However, it wasn&rsquo;t Park herself that caught fans&rsquo; attention&mdash;it was the unmasked individual next to her.
Fans quickly identified the actor as someone resembling Lee Jin Wook, who played Player 246, Park Gyeong-seok. This detail has sparked speculation that Gyeong-seok, who was thought to have died during the climactic revolt led by Seong Gi-hun, might have survived. If true, it opens up exciting possibilities for the character&rsquo;s return.
Theories suggest that Kang No-eul, known for her strict adherence to the game&rsquo;s rules, may have secretly saved Gyeong-seok amidst the chaos. He could now be disguised as a Pink Guard, mirroring Detective Hwang Jun-ho&rsquo;s infiltration strategy in Season 1. This twist could set the stage for a deeper exploration of rebellion, survival, and moral dilemmas as the series progresses.
