A TikTok user, known as @mellycka, took to social media to share a video of her first visit to the restaurant. She and her friend were excited to try out a variety of Japanese dishes. However, their dining experience was disrupted when they spotted an insect in one of their meals.
By coincidence, @mellycka had been recording a video of their food just moments before making the discovery. Shocked and unsettled, she immediately called over a waiter to alert them to the issue. Upon seeing what had happened, the restaurant staff promptly replaced the dish and offered complimentary ice cream as a form of compensation.

Restaurant Owner Issues a Public Apology
The situation took a positive turn when the restaurant&rsquo;s management personally reached out to @mellycka via direct message. One of the restaurant&rsquo;s owners, introducing himself as Imran, sincerely apologised for the incident. He acknowledged the unpleasant experience and admitted that the compensation offered at the time had not been sufficient.
&ldquo;First and foremost, I would like to personally apologise for the unfortunate incident that occurred during your visit to our restaurant,&rdquo; Imran wrote. &ldquo;I also regret that the dish was not adequately compensated, as the responsibility for this matter rests entirely with us.&rdquo;
In response to the incident, Imran assured that the restaurant would undergo a rigorous deep-cleaning process to maintain proper hygiene standards and prevent such occurrences in the future. He also extended an invitation to @mellycka and her friend to return for a complimentary meal as a goodwill gesture.

Initially, social media users were quick to criticise the restaurant&rsquo;s hygiene standards, with some even calling for a boycott. However, the owner&rsquo;s sincere apology and proactive response shifted public opinion. Many netizens commended Imran for his professionalism and the way he handled the matter.
&ldquo;So professional. It&rsquo;s refreshing to see a restaurant owner take responsibility like this,&rdquo; one user commented.
Another remarked, &ldquo;This is the kind of responsible business we should support. I actually want to try dining there now!&rdquo;
