Jury Finds Keffe D Guilty After Decades Of Mystery

Davis was convicted of first-degree murder with a deadly weapon for his role in orchestrating Tupac&rsquo;s killing.

According to prosecutors, the motive was retaliation after Davis&rsquo; nephew, Orlando &ldquo;Baby Lane&rdquo; Anderson, became involved in a fight with Tupac and members of his entourage at a Las Vegas casino earlier that night.
Authorities said Davis and several other men subsequently went searching for Tupac and Knight in a white Cadillac. When they found the pair&rsquo;s BMW at a traffic light, someone in the back seat opened fire.
Davis was the only person from the Cadillac who was still alive by the time the case eventually reached court. Anderson, who was long suspected of being the gunman, died in an unrelated shooting in 1998 and was never charged over Tupac&rsquo;s death.
Davis&rsquo; Own Words Became Key Evidence

Malaysia is expected to recruit around 200,000 migrant workers from Bangladesh over the next six months, with the recruitment process reportedly set to begin in phases from the end of September 2026.
The planned intake was announced by Bangladeshi Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives junior minister Mir Shahe Alam, who said the workers would be brought in through agencies and companies approved by Malaysian authorities.
However, the Malaysian government has yet to publicly confirm the reported recruitment figure.
Recruitment Expected To Begin From End Of September

Bangladeshi authorities said the discussions covered labour recruitment as well as efforts to strengthen relations between Malaysia and Bangladesh.
Bangladesh Wants Undocumented Workers Legalised

Malaysians with non-urgent applications are therefore encouraged to wait until after the disruption before proceeding. Parents applying for their child's first MyKad at age 12 are similarly encouraged to hold off until more information about the new-generation card becomes available.
JPN said Malaysians should follow its official channels for updates on the rollout, application process and availability of the new-generation MyKad.

MyKad Printing Services Disrupted Until 7 September As Malaysia Introduces New-Generation Card

Malaysians who rely heavily on their vehicles have some good news as the government has restored the monthly BUDI95 subsidised RON95 quota to 300 litres, effective 1 September 2026.
The increase reverses the temporary reduction from 300 litres to 200 litres introduced in April. At the same time, eligible private diesel-powered pick-up and jeep owners can now receive up to 400 litres of subsidised diesel per month.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced the changes during his National Day address on 30 August, saying the government was acting ahead of Budget 2027 because cost-of-living pressures could not wait until October. The Finance Ministry subsequently confirmed that the revised quotas would be implemented automatically for eligible existing recipients.
BUDI95 Quota Returns To 300 Litres

Under BUDI MADANI RON95 (BUDI95), eligible Malaysians can purchase subsidised RON95 petrol at RM1.99 per litre.

The government said around 16 million Malaysians benefit from subsidised RON95 under the programme. The adjustment is automatic for existing eligible BUDI95 recipients, meaning they do not need to submit a new application simply because the quota has increased.
The original reduction to 200 litres took effect on 1 April 2026 as the government responded to higher global crude oil prices and increased subsidy costs.
Why Was The Quota Reduced In The First Place?

The 200-litre limit was introduced as a temporary measure amid significant pressure on the government's fuel subsidy bill.

With the latest adjustment, the government says it has taken into account the needs of Malaysians who rely heavily on their vehicles, including those travelling long distances and small traders who depend on vehicles for their livelihoods.
The Finance Ministry also said the restoration was made possible by better fuel supply management, stronger enforcement, improved economic performance and the government's current financial capacity.
BUDI Diesel Quota Can Go Up To 400 Litres

There is also an increase for eligible diesel vehicle owners.

Eligible owners of private diesel-powered pick-up trucks and jeeps can apply for an additional 100 litres, bringing their total monthly entitlement to up to 400 litres.
More than half a million eligible diesel vehicle owners can apply for the additional allocation.
Those who were already approved for the extra 100 litres do not need to apply again, as their entitlement will be automatically adjusted to 400 litres from 1 September. Those who have not applied can submit their application through the BUDI MADANI portal.
No Need To Reapply For The Basic Increase
For existing BUDI95 and BUDI Diesel recipients, the return to the higher basic quota is automatic, subject to their existing eligibility.
This means eligible BUDI95 users will receive the revised 300-litre monthly limit, while eligible BUDI Diesel recipients will receive the applicable revised allocation without having to restart the application process.
For pick-up and jeep owners seeking the additional 100 litres under BUDI Diesel, a separate application is still required unless they have already received approval previously.
Government Says Subsidies Must Still Be Protected From Misuse

For eligible motorists, the changes from 1 September 2026 are straightforward:
BUDI95: Up to 300 litres of subsidised RON95 per month at RM1.99 per litre.
BUDI Diesel: Up to 300 litres per month at RM2.10 per litre for eligible recipients.
Private diesel pick-up and jeep owners: Up to 400 litres per month with the additional 100-litre allocation, subject to eligibility and application requirements.
Anwar has positioned the move as an immediate measure to help ease cost-of-living pressures before Budget 2027, which is due to be tabled in October.

Malaysian MOAs, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) are coming back to Kuala Lumpur! The K-pop boy group has confirmed a new Malaysia stop as part of their upcoming &ldquo;Steal The Wind&rdquo; World Tour, just months after making their first-ever appearance in the country.
TXT will return to Kuala Lumpur on 13 March 2027, giving Malaysian fans another chance to see Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai perform live.
The announcement comes after the group wrapped up their previous world tour with a Kuala Lumpur concert in February 2026, where they promised Malaysian MOAs that they would return. It looks like they really meant it.
Who Are TOMORROW X TOGETHER?

Formed under BIGHIT MUSIC, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, better known as TXT, is a five-member K-pop group consisting of Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai.
Since debuting in 2019, TXT have established themselves as one of the leading groups of their generation, gaining a global following through their energetic performances, distinctive concepts and genre-spanning music.

The March 2027 concert will also make the occasion even more special as it falls on Beomgyu&rsquo;s birthday, giving fans another reason to celebrate with the group.

The title roughly translates to &ldquo;momentary fireworks&rdquo;, with the song using fireworks as a metaphor for a relationship that is beautiful but ultimately fleeting.
The track explores the bittersweet feeling of knowing that a farewell is unavoidable while still wishing that the relationship could continue. Musically, it combines an emotional vocal performance with an energetic Brazilian funk-inspired sound and prominent synths, creating a contrast between the song&rsquo;s upbeat production and its more melancholic theme.
The Japanese single features four tracks: &ldquo;Setsuna Hanabi&rdquo;, &ldquo;Silence&rdquo;, &ldquo;Nice to Meet Ya&rdquo; and &ldquo;Setsuna Hanabi (Natsuyoi Ver.)&rdquo;. &ldquo;Silence&rdquo; also serves as the theme song for the Japanese film Oki-Haru-kun no Namida wo Koroshite.

Bad news for Post Malone fans in Malaysia &mdash; the singer&rsquo;s upcoming Kuala Lumpur concert has been postponed until further notice, alongside the wider Asian and Australasian leg of his The BIG Stadium Tour.
The Kuala Lumpur show was originally scheduled to take place at TM Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil on 27 September 2026, but Live Nation Malaysia has now confirmed that the concert will not go ahead as planned.
A new date has yet to be announced.
Post Malone Was Set To Perform In Kuala Lumpur This September

Post Malone, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, was set to return to the region as part of his massive stadium tour.
The American singer, rapper and songwriter is known for global hits including &ldquo;Rockstar&rdquo;, &ldquo;Circles&rdquo; and &ldquo;Sunflower&rdquo;, as well as his genre-blending style combining hip hop, pop, rock and country influences.
His Kuala Lumpur concert was expected to be one of the year's biggest international music events, with fans looking forward to seeing the Grammy-nominated star perform live at Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil.
However, those plans have now been put on hold.
Live Nation Confirms Post Malone Tour Postponement

Live Nation Malaysia announced that Post Malone Presents The BIG Stadium Tour in Kuala Lumpur has been postponed.
The promoter said fans who purchased tickets through the authorised ticketing platform, GoLive Asia, will be entitled to a refund.
&ldquo;We regret to announce that Post Malone Presents The BIG Stadium Tour in Kuala Lumpur, scheduled for 27 September 2026 at TM Stadium Nasional, has been postponed.&rdquo;
Live Nation added that there is currently no confirmed replacement date and encouraged fans to follow Post Malone&rsquo;s official channels for future updates.
The wider postponement also affects other Asian and Australasian stops on the tour.
Fans Will Receive Full Ticket Refunds

For Malaysian ticket holders, Live Nation said refunds will be issued through the original payment method used to purchase the tickets.
GoLive Asia is expected to contact ticket purchasers by email within five business days with information about the refund process. Fans have also been advised to check their spam or junk folders if they do not receive the email.
Live Nation apologised to fans for the disruption, acknowledging that many had been looking forward to attending the concert. The promoter also stressed that fans should refer to the official refund communication for further instructions rather than relying on unofficial information circulating online.
The Entire Asian And Australasian Tour Has Been Postponed

The Kuala Lumpur cancellation is not an isolated change.
Post Malone&rsquo;s wider Asian and Australasian tour dates have also been postponed, affecting shows across several countries. The Asian leg was originally scheduled to begin in Hong Kong on 16 September before travelling to destinations including Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea and Japan.
The final Asian stop was scheduled for K-Arena Yokohama in Japan on 6 October.
The Australasian leg, meanwhile, was due to include concerts in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Auckland, as well as appearances at several Australian festivals in October. Those dates have also been pushed back.
At this stage, organisers have not announced whether the postponed shows will receive completely new dates or whether the routing of the tour will be changed.
Don Toliver Was Also Supposed To Appear

The postponement is particularly notable for fans who were also looking forward to Don Toliver.
The American rapper and singer had been announced as part of the tour line-up and was expected to support Post Malone during the Kuala Lumpur show.
However, shortly after Post Malone&rsquo;s tour promotional materials went up, Don Toliver announced his own tour plans, creating some confusion among fans over whether his upcoming dates would overlap with the postponed Post Malone shows.
With Post Malone&rsquo;s tour now on hold, it remains unclear whether Don Toliver will still be involved should the postponed dates eventually be rescheduled.
No New Kuala Lumpur Date Yet
For now, Malaysian fans will have to wait for further information from Live Nation and Post Malone&rsquo;s official channels.
The most immediate step is for ticket holders to watch out for their GoLive Asia refund email, with refunds to be processed through the original payment method.
While the postponement will undoubtedly come as a disappointment to fans who had already made plans around the concert, there is still a possibility that the Kuala Lumpur show could return as part of a rescheduled tour.
For now, though, Post Malone will not be performing at Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil on 27 September 2026 as originally planned.

South Korea&rsquo;s popular holiday island of Jeju is facing growing scrutiny after four people who had previously been reported missing were found dead within just three days.
The discoveries have come amid a widening police scandal involving an officer who is accused of improperly closing missing-person cases without properly confirming the whereabouts or safety of those reported missing.
The situation has sparked public anger and renewed questions about how missing-person cases are handled in South Korea, with President Lee Jae Myung now calling for greater police accountability and reform.
Missing Woman Found 104 Days After Disappearance

One of the cases at the centre of the controversy involves 37-year-old Jang Mi-ran, who was reported missing in May.
Her case was allegedly closed by a police officer identified by the surname Bu, who reportedly told her family that he had contacted Jang and that she did not want her whereabouts disclosed.
Investigators later found no records supporting the officer's claim that he had spoken to her.
Jang's body was eventually discovered on 24 August, around 104 days after she disappeared, at a palm tree farm in Hallim-eup. The location was reportedly only around 400 metres from the accommodation where she had been staying.
Her remains were badly decomposed, meaning police were unable to identify her visually. Personal belongings, including a mobile phone and bracelet, as well as clothing believed to match what she was last wearing, helped investigators establish a preliminary identification.
An autopsy and forensic examinations are being carried out to confirm her identity and determine the cause and time of death.
Another Missing Man Also Found Dead

The same officer is also accused of improperly closing the missing-person case of a man in his 60s.
The man was reported missing in July, with his family later saying police had told them he was safe but did not wish to reveal his location. According to local reports, his family trusted the police's explanation and waited for him to return.
Instead, his body was found on 22 August, more than 50 days after he was reported missing. His family had filed another missing-person report after learning about Jang's case, prompting authorities to restart the search.
The man's son later expressed his frustration, saying the family had believed the police when they were told that his father was safe.
Two More Bodies Discovered On Jeju

Two other people reported missing were also found dead during the same period.
A person who had been reported missing was found near a valley in Aewol-eup on 24 August, while another man believed to be in his 70s was discovered in waters near Sinheung-ri the previous day.
The circumstances surrounding all four deaths remain under investigation.
Importantly, authorities have not linked the four deaths to one another, and there is currently no confirmed evidence that a serial killer or organised criminal group is operating on Jeju.
However, the unusual concentration of deaths, combined with the allegations against the police officer, has fuelled speculation and public anxiety online.
Officer Bu Accused Of Mishandling Hundreds Of Cases

Police are now reviewing 298 missing-person cases handled by Bu during roughly 17 months on Jeju.
He is accused of falsely claiming to have contacted missing individuals before closing their cases and removing them from the police missing-person profiling system.
Bu has denied the allegations, maintaining that he had contacted the two missing people whose cases are at the centre of the current investigation.
However, police said they have so far been unable to find records showing that those conversations took place.
He is facing allegations including dereliction of duty, falsifying and using official electronic records, and obstructing official duties by deception.
Four senior officers at Jeju Seobu Police Station have also been removed from their duties pending an internal investigation into whether there were failures in supervision and command.
South Korea Begins Wider Review

The controversy has now grown beyond Jeju.
South Korean authorities are reviewing whether similar problems may have occurred elsewhere, with police agencies in Seoul and Busan also examining previously closed missing-person reports.
The scrutiny comes as South Korea records tens of thousands of missing-person reports every year. Official figures show that more than 70,000 adults were reported missing in 2025, with the vast majority resolved within a month.
Experts have suggested that the high rate of quickly resolved cases may contribute to officers becoming less cautious when dealing with missing adults.
President Lee Calls For Police Reform

The scandal has reached the country's highest levels, with President Lee Jae Myung calling for stronger accountability within the police force.

The National Police Agency has since apologised over the handling of the cases and said it would strengthen safeguards for closing missing-person reports.
One proposed change would require senior officers to review the evidence and reasons for closing a case before it can officially be marked as resolved.
Jeju's Reputation Faces A New Challenge
Jeju is one of South Korea's most popular tourist destinations, known for its beaches, volcanic landscapes and quiet countryside.
The recent deaths, however, have prompted anxiety among some residents and tourists, with reports of people reconsidering or cancelling trips after the cases spread widely online.
While there is no evidence at present that Jeju is experiencing a wider wave of violent crime, the police scandal has nevertheless raised serious questions about public safety and the handling of vulnerable people.
For now, investigators are focused on determining how the four people died and whether further missing-person cases were mishandled.
