Team Spirit has been crown the champions of Dota 2&rsquo;s The International 10 
It looks like the team really put up some team spirit (pun intended) during this round of The Internationals.

They had initially started off their run with a shaky start by only making it by one game through the regional qualifiers as they had a 0-4 start in the group stage. But even with a bad run, it didn&rsquo;t stop them from pulling off one of the most insane lower bracket runs in Esports.

Many were routing for PSG.LGD to win The Internationals but Team Spirit had held them off very nicely.

One of the most impressive things was that Team Spirit only had Miposhka, who is the only player in the roster to ever compete at TI before. To add on, Team Spirit is the first CIS team to win The International since Na&rsquo;Vi who won over a decade ago during TI1.

During game one of their best of five match, they had picked their go-to heroes and controlled the match by playing with their own style and tempo.

Due to them being very comfortable with the playstyle, LGD failed to find a way to counter them. Due to the inability to control the game, it game Spirit an advantage in the few big teamfights as they completely shut down Ame&rsquo;s Ursa which held LGD as a whole.
Game two on the other hand saw LGD laying more aggressive during the early stages as they forced Spirit to play a more &ldquo;composed&rdquo; style of Dota. Despite the aggressive start, Miposhka had other plans and ensured they didn&rsquo;t walk into any of the overly dangerous situations. They had managed to control the match and flipped a switch on LGD by carrying themselves to a second win.

The games had just begun as LGD had later composed themselves ahead for game 3. They had planned out a way to coax Spirit into a sense of comfort around Collapse&rsquo;s Magnus. Although with a solid plan, it had taken a bit of time for it come to action. When it came to play, LGD were looking unstoppable. They had broken the CIS squad&rsquo;s momentum and took game 3.
Spirit did hold out for a bit but in 20 minutes, they could only kill y`&rsquo;s Undyin. LGD had played their advantage which had left Spirit back with a 40k deficit.

Game 4 had seen a bit of a messy raft which had left Spirit back from a clear win condition. LGD core who was led by Ame&rsquo;s Luna and NothingToSay&rsquo;s Kunkka had looked like a force to be reckoned with. LGD was up by 5,000 Gold within 10 minutes of the game and 7,000 after 12 minutes. Before the game hit the 20-minute mark, LGD had pushed the high ground for a quick win.

Game 5 to decide it all as there&rsquo;s more than $18 million (~RM75 Million) and the Aegis. During the final battle, Sprit and LGD had drafted heroes they were very well known for playing. The CIS Team needed to defeat LGD&rsquo;s meta-setting Tiny/Lycan combo to take it all.
The game took a while to get going but LGD had built up a lead. A team fight however had changed the whole situation of the game as Team Spirit had stood their ground. The defences of LGD had slowly collapsed and the big team fights started. Spirit had pressured to the high ground as well.

LGD repelled what looked like a game-ending push after Spirit picked off Ame&rsquo;s Tiny, but there was nothing they could do beyond that. They lost a fight in the Rosh pit, Ame died again with no buyback, and Spirit completely ignored Roshan to rush the Ancient and win TI10.&nbsp;

Team Spirit had one hell of a run during TI10 as the defeated big teams such as Fnatic, Virtus.pro, Invictus Gaming, Team Secret, two-time winners OG and now LGD.

As for LGD, this was the third straight season of falling short towards the end of TI. Previously they had placed 2nd at TI8 and third at TI9.
Looks like this year&rsquo;s TI was one heck of a game to watch. Even my own WhatsApp groups were blowing up at the amount of excitement and thrill of the matches. Congratulations to Team Spirit for playing some of the best Dota2 we&rsquo;ve seen and hopefully they&rsquo;ll continue on their momentum for future tournaments.
