Lakehead University Scholarship In Canada 2023-24 (Fully Funded)

Applications to study at Lakehead University, Cana is now open for the 2023-2024 academic year. Lakehead University is proud to offer a diverse selection of programs with a wide variety of program options. The following is available;

International Undergraduate Entrance Scholarships

Non-Canadian citizens who would like to enter Lakehead from the following will be considered for the Undergraduate Entrance Scholarships;

• Highschool
• Transferring from an International College or University

Graduate Assistantships

Graduate assistantships may be offered to a limited number of full-time graduates (inclusive of students holding a Visa) at a rate of $10,506.69 CAD (~RM33,907) for those taking Master's and $11,457.79 CAD (~RM36,977) at the Doctoral level.

Faculty Research Awards For Graduate Students

Some graduate students may also receive a Faculty Research Award. This stipend may be paid to a full–time degree candidate for research or academic activities relevant and related to the student’s field(s) of study within the academic program.

International Lakehead-Georgian Scholarships

The scholarship is available to the top international students applying to Lakehead-Georgian for 2023-2024. In addition to the entrance scholarships (based on academic merit), international Lakehead-Georgian students starting Fall 2023 are eligible for the $4,000 International Visionary Award:

Application Deadline

Applications are received on a continual basis. However, it is recommended that applicants complete the application package by the following dates:

• For a Fall start term: 1 February 2023
• For a Winter start term: 30 September 2023
• For a Spring start term: 15 January 2023

How To Apply?

A hard copy document must be submitted to the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Applicants will need ot review the program's admissions requirements.

NOTE: Pre-assessment services are not available. Applicant qualifications will be assessed once a formal application package has been submitted to a graduate program.
