If you&rsquo;re a frequent traveller, you&rsquo;ll know that the Malaysian passport is considered one of the most powerful passports you can hold out there.

According to the Passport Index website, Malaysia is ranked 9th most powerful passport out there as our passport can travel to 165 countries. The ranks are determined by how many countries we can enter visa free and, on the charts, we can visit a total of 119 countries visa free, 46 would require a visa on arrival and 33 countries will require us to request for a visa.
But if you were to look in our passport, there&rsquo;s just one country where Malaysians are technically not allowed to visit and that is Israel. Vice versa, Israelis are not allowed to come and visit Malaysia as well due to the country having no diplomatic ties with them. The whole reason behind why we can&rsquo;t visit one another is due to the war that is happening in Palestine.

The war has been going on for 75 years and Israel has taken over control of Palestine&rsquo;s land. In the map, it can be seen that the land space has been becoming smaller and smaller over the years.
Israeli Vlogger Visits Malaysia

If you browse Facebook a lot, you&rsquo;ve likely heard the name Nuseir Yassin who&rsquo;s known as Nas Daily and may seen his videos before. The Arab-Israel vlogger is well known for making 1-minute videos every day for 1,000 days.
Recently, he&rsquo;s been the talk of social media as he had recently shared a series of stories that entered Malaysia and visited Melaka for a day as he posted &ldquo;MALAYSIAAAAAA&rdquo; in one of his stories.

But wait, you may wonder, why is this controversial?

To begin with, Nas is an Israel National and he is essentially banned from entering Malaysia and other Muslim countries without a written permission from the country&rsquo;s Ministry of Home Affairs.
Back on January 2020, Nas had made a video during his visit to Singapore about how Malaysia is &ldquo;The Forbidden Land&rdquo; and he can&rsquo;t visit it with his passport.

A netizen had took the opportunity to screen record his adventure on Instagram Stories.
&ldquo;I was banned from Malaysia for 30 years because of my Israeli passport. So, I went and bought a whole new citizenship just to be able to enter and show it to you.&rdquo;
He described Melaka as a town &ldquo;you never heard of&rdquo; and said it was very beautiful. He also described Melaka in three words which was &ldquo;Energy, Vibes and Craziness&rdquo;. By the looks of it, Nas had even ran into Malaysians who recognise him and watch his videos. Many of the locals there were described as friendly and he had a great experience in Melaka despite the trip only lasting for 12 hours and he&rsquo;ll be posting a video about it soon.
To end off his story, he was also shocked to see how green our country is and caught on our local joke on our obsession with the colour green.

So, he bought a passport to enter Malaysia?
As he mentioned, Nas had purchased a passport to enter Malaysia and he described his experience as worth it.
According to the Director-General of Immigration Datuk Seri Khaiful Dzaimee Daud, Nas had entered Malaysia via Singapore by using a Saint Kitts and Nevis passport which is a country in the Caribbean region.
He explained that Nas had held dual citizenship and he had not commit any immigration offences when entering Malaysia therefore giving him the permission to enter Malaysia on a tourist visa upon arrival. If he were to use his Israel passport, he wouldn&rsquo;t have been allowed to enter the country.
For general knowledge, to get a Saint Kitts and Nevis passport, it would cost $7,500 (~RM35,527.50) and there is also a $350 (~RM1657) processing fee. Do note however that under the Constitution of Malaysia &ndash; Article 24 Termination of Citizenship, the government of Malaysia does not recognize dual nationality.
