Travelling abroad is definitely something that&rsquo;s on everyone's bucket list of things to do in 2023. Having a sense of freedom and exploring the world with friends, family or even your significant other is something that everyone wants to do as we get to experience a whole different culture and environment from the one that we are normally used to.

Despite all the fun, we can have while travelling abroad, we have to remember to always plan ahead when we travel and know a little bit about our destination. For example, if you go to Egypt to see the Pyramids, there are local tourist traps that try to sell you items and even Paris was dubbed &lsquo;the worse city on Earth&rsquo; due to the attitude of locals towards tourists.
But what about cities such as London? It&rsquo;s always been a favourite destination for many Malaysians and it&rsquo;s almost like a 2nd Malaysia thanks to the number of Malaysians studying and working in the country.
Welcome To The Land Of Pickpockets

Of all the crimes that happen frequently in London, it&rsquo;s pickpockets. In fact, this crime happens all over Europe and the thieves are always sneaky and quick. Typically, thieves will always target vulnerable and unsuspecting victims as they are the easiest to steal from.
Recently, TikTok user <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@izz_akrm">@izz_akrm</a> shared the moment he managed to catch a thief in the act just in time before they managed to steal any of his valuables.

&nbsp;In the video which now has 2.8 million views and 190K likes at the time of writing this, Izz had encountered three strangers who attempted to pickpocket him and his friends. At the time, they were strolling around Oxford Street with his friends which is a popular shopping district that&rsquo;s visited by both locals and tourists. &nbsp;
As he had his 360 camera out to capture the moment of strolling around, the three thieves had gathered around him and his friends. On their first attempt, the thief had managed to successfully open his bag but couldn&rsquo;t get anything from it.

On their second attempt, the thief had tried to get her hand in Izz&rsquo;s bag and Izz immediately noticed it. The thief immediately pulled her hand out and denied any attempt of pickpocketing despite Izz&rsquo;s efforts of confronting her.
Netizens Share Their Thoughts On The Incident
Browsing through the comments, many have actually shared their own insights on the matter and pickpockets are no joke, especially in Europe.
According to some netizens, pickpockets actually have academies to attempt it and those classes even offer lessons to pickpocket wallets despite being in a deep pocket.

Some even pointed out that Izz and his friends were not trailed by 3 but 5 people in the group.
