Once upon a time, we at MYC! declared that 2024 would be the year of concerts in Malaysia. Over the past few months, we have enjoyed numerous Asian and K-pop acts. Now, we&rsquo;re excited to announce that more international artists are heading our way, leaving us spoiled for choice.
Yesterday (24 June), we shared the thrilling news that British metalcore band Bring Me The Horizon will be performing in Kuala Lumpur, featuring the Japanese kawaii metal band BABYMETAL. Now, thanks to Hitman Solutions and Happy Moon, we&rsquo;re thrilled to announce the return of the one and only Ne-Yo to Kuala Lumpur!

Yes, that's right! The &lsquo;Ne-Yo: Live In Malaysia&rsquo; concert is set for 9th November 2024 (Saturday) at the Plenary Hall at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Fans can look forward to a setlist packed with soulful hits, including &ldquo;So Sick,&rdquo; &ldquo;Because Of You,&rdquo; and &ldquo;Miss Independent.&rdquo;
Who Is Ne-Yo?

Ne-Yo, born Shaffer Chimere Smith on October 18, 1979, in Camden, Arkansas, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, and record producer. Known for his smooth voice and impeccable songwriting skills, Ne-Yo has made significant contributions to contemporary R&amp;B, pop, and dance music since his debut in the music industry.
He first gained widespread attention with his 2006 hit single "So Sick," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, followed by the successful release of his debut album, "In My Own Words." This album solidified his status in the music world and was just the start of a series of hits. His other notable songs include "Miss Independent," "Because of You," and "Closer," each showcasing his knack for blending R&amp;B with pop to create appealing melodies that resonate with a broad audience.

During Ne-Yo&rsquo;s last performance in Kuala Lumpur in 2023, the three-time Grammy winner captivated the audience with his smooth vocals and commanding stage presence at a sold-out concert. In addition to his own hits, he delighted fans with his unique renditions of Beyonc&eacute;&rsquo;s &ldquo;Irreplaceable&rdquo; and Rihanna&rsquo;s &ldquo;Take a Bow,&rdquo; both of which he wrote.
This time, Ne-Yo will take the stage at the Plenary Hall, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, and there&rsquo;s a good chance he&rsquo;ll treat the audience to some of his new songs at this upcoming concert.
