Last Tuesday, on 23 August 2022, IOI City Farm was first opened to the media for its launching event.
IOI City Farm started to welcome the public on August 25, the same date as the opening of IOI City Mall&rsquo;s phase 2.
IOI City Farm is a permanent exhibition and indoor farm that showcases various plants and animals. It can be divided into three major sections, which are the plant zone, animal zone as well as an aquarium consisting of extraordinary living things underwater.&nbsp;
While it aims to enlighten the visitors about the wonders of nature, it can also entertain you as you will be able to observe many plants and animals that are less likely to be perceived in the city.
There are zoologists, aquarists, and botanists on the site who are willing to inform you about the knowledge regarding the species located there, so if you need their assistance, feel free to call them. You can also choose to explore this farm on your own by viewing the displays scattered around the area.

<h2>The Plant Zone : Greenland</h2>
On arriving at the plant zone - Greenland, you will notice the area called Green Glades that exhibits different types of terrariums on terrain to mimic the openness of nature.&nbsp;

A ferry travelling from Ketapang Port in East Java to Gilimanuk Port in Bali sank late on Wednesday night (2 July 2025), just 25 minutes into its journey across the Bali Strait, one of Indonesia&rsquo;s busiest inter-island routes. The ferry, named KMP Tunu Pratama Jaya, was carrying 65 people on board&mdash;53 passengers and 12 crew members&mdash;along with 22 vehicles, including 14 trucks.
The ferry capsized at approximately 11:20pm, and by 12:22am, it was found overturned and drifting. Initial reports point to a combination of engine trouble and rough weather conditions, with waves reaching up to two metres (6.5 feet), contributing to the tragic incident.
Death Toll Rises as Search Efforts Intensify
