<p>Everybody loves a good prank, am I right?</p>
<p>Unfortunately, some pranks can go a little too far and could potentially land either the prankster or even the prank victim in some deep trouble or even injury.</p>

<p><strong>Pocong Gets Beaten Up</strong></p>

<p>We all know the infamous &ldquo;Hantu Pocong&rdquo; which is a type of ghost or spirit in both Malaysian and Indonesian folklore which is believed to be the spirit of a dead person trapped in their burial shroud. The ghost is always portrayed in horror movies in Southeast Asia and can only typically move in a hopping motion due to its body being wrapped by its shroud.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Recently, a video of pranksters in Indonesia pretending to be a pocong standing by the side of the road had gone viral as they were subjected to becoming a victim of a beating after residents had a go at them.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The video shows a man approaching a ghost and kicking it until it falls to the ground. Later, a few other men gather around and surround the pocong, causing the man to beat it up again and remove its shroud. At the end of the video, the pocong appears scared and is dragged away by the men.</p>
<p><strong>Pranksters Identified As Minors</strong></p>

<p>In a report by Indonesian news site, Kompas, the pranksters were later taken to the Bonang Police Station in Demak and Chief AKBP Budi Adhy Buwono confirmed that the boys involved in the prank were minors.</p>
<p>The children had given a written statement to not do such pranks like that again in the future as it could cause anxiety to residents in the area. Authorities called upon their parents, the head of the neighbourhood association, the citizen association, and the village head to ensure to monitor the children.</p>
<p><em>Now, kids, that&rsquo;s a lesson learnt. If you were to do a seemingly harmless prank then it&rsquo;s okay but a prank like this may come to haunt you again in the future, who knows, maybe an actual pocong will come and chase after you.</em></p>
