Are you a fan of burgers? As Malaysians, we are a fan of pretty much every type of food that society can offer us. No matter if you&rsquo;re having a long and busy day, we can all agree on one thing;

But sometimes, we can get quite jealous of our neighbours as it seems that restaurants overseas tend to offer some of the most delicious or even bizarre combinations of foods.
Burger King Thailand Unveils &lsquo;The Real Cheese Burger&rsquo;
We typically see cheeseburgers on our menu whether it's at the restaurant or by our roadside stall and most of the time, we enjoy it. But Burger King in Thailand took it to the next level as they introduced a literal cheeseburger with 20 slices of American cheese in it.

&lsquo;The Real Cheese Burger&rsquo; is currently on offer at the fast-food chain at a reduced price of TBH109 (~RM14.50) rather than the normal price of TBH380 (~RM50.70). Wait what, 50 bucks for a cheese burger?!
If you think that this is some long overdue April Fool's prank, it&rsquo;s actually real. The burger literally has only cheese and there&rsquo;s no meat, vegetables or any other condiments to accompany the burger. If you&rsquo;re feeling a lil cheesy, Burger King offered customers to add on more cheese as an additional two extra slices cost an additional TBH20 (RM2.67).

A 25-year-old British software engineer has gone missing in Kuala Lumpur after a night out in Bangsar, prompting a desperate search by his family and police in both Malaysia and the UK.

Jordan Michael John Johnson-Doyle, from Merseyside, England, was last heard from on the evening of Tuesday, 27 May. At around 8pm, he sent a photograph of a pub quiz poster at Healy Mac&rsquo;s Irish Bar in Bangsar to his best friend, which now marks his final known communication.
Jordan, who has been backpacking solo through Southeast Asia and the Mediterranean for the past 18 months while working remotely for a US-based company, had arrived in Malaysia from Vietnam on 17 May. He was believed to be staying at the Robertson Residences in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.
Family Raises Alarm After Uncharacteristic Silence
His mother, Leanne Burnett, became alarmed when she didn&rsquo;t hear from him the following day, something she describes as completely out of character. The two last spoke on Monday, 26 May, with no indication of anything amiss.
&ldquo;He always checks in regularly because he knows how worried we get,&rdquo; she told the Daily Mail. &ldquo;If he had lost his phone or laptop, he knows my number by heart. He&rsquo;d go to a hotel or an internet caf&eacute; to get in touch. The silence is just not like him.&rdquo;

&ldquo;Tracking him throughout the day didn&rsquo;t help &mdash; the location never changed. It was like he just disappeared,&rdquo; she added. &ldquo;We have no idea what has happened, but something is seriously wrong.&rdquo;
Efforts to Locate Jordan Intensify

Jordan is described as being 5 feet 11 inches tall, of medium build, with shoulder-length mousy brown hair usually tied in a bun. At the time of his disappearance, he was in Bangsar, a popular nightlife district in Kuala Lumpur.

Intrigued by the sight, they decided to book the same service for their celebration the following evening, paying RM2,000 for a meal meant for 40 people.

The meal commenced at 6 PM on 1st February, and the group eagerly tucked in, expecting a delightful dining experience. However, just four hours later, disaster struck. More than ten people in the group began suffering from extreme vomiting and diarrhoea&mdash;undeniable signs of food poisoning. As the night progressed, the severity of the symptoms escalated, and by morning, two members had to be rushed to the hospital for intravenous drips, while others sought treatment at nearby clinics.
The repercussions of the incident went beyond health issues. Several group members were forced to take sick leave from work, while children attending international schools had to miss classes. The financial burden from medical expenses, combined with lost productivity, only added to their distress.
A Struggle for Accountability

Joey was not convinced by this explanation. She had personally witnessed the driver calling the company to confirm the booking before proceeding. Adding to her suspicions, she pointed out that the food truck that arrived for their event was different from the one they had initially seen at the neighbouring villa.
In a further attempt to absolve itself, the company suggested that the food poisoning might have resulted from something the group had consumed earlier in the day. However, Joey quickly dismissed this claim. She explained that the group had split into five separate clusters throughout the day, each eating different meals&mdash;with some even skipping lunch entirely&mdash;yet every single person who ate the lok lok that evening fell ill.

&ldquo;Food poisoning is not something to take lightly. I am sharing this publicly to put pressure on the business because of their irresponsibility and lack of concern for hygiene. I can accept the financial loss, but what I want is empathy,&rdquo; she wrote.
