Reflecting on the encounter, she recalled that the man inquired about several things. Initially, he questioned whether the meals were priced at RM3.50 per serving. Subsequently, he inquired whether the cost of the meals included separate dishes or if it was a combination with the rice. Surprisingly, these questions left the woman stunned, and the interrogation continued with queries like:
"Are you attempting to diminish the earnings of other rice sellers?" and even questioned how other vendors could survive if she set the prices lower.

The man later brought up the topic of the Menu Rahmah initiative and told off the woman to raise the price of her food to RM4.50 so it can be aligned with the initiative. Since she was getting quite sick of hearing the man questioning many things, she then humbly offered the man a packet of food for free to the man so he could give it a try. She added that if the man enjoyed it, he could come back to buy it later rather than needing to bother so much about his personal disagreement.

A ferry travelling from Ketapang Port in East Java to Gilimanuk Port in Bali sank late on Wednesday night (2 July 2025), just 25 minutes into its journey across the Bali Strait, one of Indonesia&rsquo;s busiest inter-island routes. He added that the improved weather on Thursday has allowed for a more concentrated water-based search.

Families of the missing gathered at both Ketapang and Gilimanuk ports, anxiously awaiting updates. Some broke down in tears; others called out the names of loved ones still unaccounted for.

One standout project was a visual aid device for the visually impaired, developed by a team of teachers with no prior coding experience. Using image recognition and motion sensors, they prototyped a tool that could guide visually impaired students through school corridors &mdash; a powerful reminder of how innovation can arise when empathy and technology intersect.

Effective from 1 July, the Medical (Amendment) Regulations 2025 and the Medical Act (Amendment) 2024 have come into force.
